Yingst Appliance — Attraction in Vista

My gas clothes dryer died on me and I initially thought it was time to replace. I went to Yingst since they sell "Speed Queen" brand.

On top of a large in-stock selection, I was assisted by Casey, who was really patient and informative on the details of the brand.

After deciding which Speed Queen I would go with, I told Casey I wanted to talk with a repair company before replacing my existing unit.

I called a repair company I've had previous experience with and was told it was likely not an expensive fix and a gas dryer should last 12-15 years, it was only seven years old. I ended up having it repaired for less than $200.

Though I didn't buy now, I'm sold on the Speed Queen brand when the time comes. I'm also sold on the service I received at Yingst. Their prices are on point or better than the big box stores and the service at Yingst is excellent!

In my latest saga of failing appliances, my 13-year-old electric cooktop has now died. No repair option on that one. I'm headed back to Yingst tomorrow.

Went back and got the exact cooktop I was looking for, the GE JP3036SLSS. The price was great and I was in and out in 15 minutes! I just installed it myself. It was super easy, two short wood screws and three wire nuts. It replaced my old GE 36" glass top and fit perfectly, just like GE guarantees.

We were shopping around for a new dishwasher, and were especially interested in a Bosch model. Casey walked me through the pros and cons of each model, answered all my questions, and addressed any concerns I had. He was knowledgeable, patient, honest, and thorough. I especially appreciated that he never tried to upsell me to something I didn't need or truly want, and seemed genuinely interested in getting me the best machine for my and my family's needs. I ended up getting a Bosch 300 series dishwasher.

Delivery and installation team came out today, spent an hour total getting the old unit out and the new one installed properly. Enrique and Raul were friendly, professional, and thorough. Enrique even installed an extra adapter box for the Bosch unit to be hardwire. I could tell it wasn't an easy process, but he never complained. I definitely appreciate the care and respect they showed to me and my home.
