If I could give them negative stars, I would. I also NEVER write reviews, especially unfavorable ones but after years of the same treatment here, I’ve decided to leave my point of view/experience. My significant other and myself have continued using this pharmacy for YEARS due to it being the closest to where we live. I haven’t had bad experiences with every tech/pharmacist there but the majority of them haven’t been super pleasant to work with and been hung of up a couple times now just because I must have annoyed them for calling about the status on my medication but thats why customers use pharmacy’s in the first place.
Whoever the pharmacy tech is thats named “Jessica”, she has been extremely unhelpful, judgmental and rude. If I have the unfortunate chance of having to communicate with her, I get a knot in my stomach just knowing what her responses and tone will be like. Not only myself but my significant other have had medications that need to be filled urgently and they couldn’t care less. One of my prescriptions has never been filled on time, forcing me to wait for 1-2weeks to fill due to billing the wrong insurance and them not realizing until a completely different pharmacy tech looked into it, among other reasons that were completely avoidable. They have also provided me with partial refills and then don’t even fill them on the correct day forcing me to go without. Any kind of medication thats a controlled substance, they talk down to you in a unwelcoming tone, even if you’re just trying to get your medication filled on time and nothing more. Ive had to leave work to pick up my prescriptions in the morning as my schedule is really strict and I only have a single person who can help me pick up my prescriptions but they aren’t always available either. This morning I called and asked for an update and was told they were working on it, so I explained “Okay I got my shift covered so Im on my way” and Im met with a response of “well it won’t be ready, it'll take at least an hour” and when I say “Okay, I had to get my shift covered to come pick up my medication and this is my only availability today (Im at work before they open and still at work after they close as Im an SM)” and Im met with the same response but in a ruder tone so I explained that “ill just have to wait when I get there i guess” and Im met with a judgmental attitude. The last few years this pharmacy has really gone down hill. They must really need people nowadays as it seems like their hiring whoever they can rather than considering employees who care about...
Read moreI was told on a friday morning at about 9:50 am my pain med was in stock and would be ready within an hr or so then when I didnt get any text updates I called them kept getting automated message pharmacist busy right now try back in 5 minutes etc finally I went down there after not being able to contact them via phone I I sent my husband he arrived there shortluly before 1pm several hrs after my morning call telling me my prescription would be ready. When he arrived he was told they didnt know what I was talking about and by the time I could contact my dr to get this sent to another pharmacy my dr had left for the day. I was told my medication was not only out of stock but in a shortage and they didnt know when they would get it. I have chronic pain I have a handful of very painful conditions this medication is urgent. It's not one that anyone should ever have to get cut off of cold Turkey. I was out of my medication and it was a friday They wouldn't even try to give me a partial refill they avoided my question and said they didnt have any of my medicine He said it felt very strange as if there was something they weren't telling us maybe they filled someone else before mine etc but I didnt even recieved a text or phone call. I should add He said they kept looking at one another as if they knew something we didnt which seemed really sketchy. Since I was unable to reach them they didn't make it easy either I'm in milton Freewater. I will go somewhere else where I feel I'm treated like a normal human being. I understand being out of a medication but don't tell your customers one thing then change your story later and in this kinda case not even call the person. This is the kind of mistake that can have dire...
Read moreMe, my son, and kids' father go here as it's the most conveniently located, with very few adjustments to our medications in the last few years unless it's a slight dosage adjustment to account for childhood growth.
This location just seems to be full of people who don't really take their job seriously- correctly and accurately providing medications on time, is a literal life or death industry.
They are often really unfriendly or downright disrespectful in tone and language choice. They carry themselves as though their actual goal is to come between you and your life saving or life-changing medication. They will frequently just not fill, several days go by, then finally after a week when there is absolutely no time left to avoid a med gap, you call and they haven't even begun the process of filling, as though they had no idea it got sent in. When you arrive to pick up, they will have actually just filled things partially, with no urgency to complete things as you continue to wait. There were SEVERAL experiences that felt aggressively interrogative in the beginning, as opposed to just asking questions to fulfill their responsibilities.
It's really disheartening to continue to have this experience when every other pharmacy or pharmacy chain seems to place importance on detail, accuracy, timeliness, and friendliness.
We may change pharmacies, however it's such a hassle once the entire family is already established, and we would probably be told it was a red flag if we tried to change pharmacies anyway. I just hope someone sees this and can maybe implement retraining or something geared toward improvement, in this industry that needs to be...
