Waltham India Market — Attraction in Waltham

Bad customer service the big guy is rude I don’t if his the owner of the market but is not only rude to customers but also employees. On the 12/13/2017 I was buying food there when I witnessed that big guy with a big beard eat at the counter one of the customer ask him why eat at the counter when we all here in the line, it was like waking up a dead 💀 person he shouted at her and the ‘whole super market ‘ hard his voice he called her names and took her basket and poured all she had on the ground.He called her names and ordered her to leave everyone every the employee were surprised 😯 at how he acted. As I walked through the back doorway I asked one employee what’s wrong with the guy he laughed and said in Spanish ‘ eso es lo que pasamos cada maldito día’ meaning that’s what we go through every day with him. Update: Over the past few month there were few incidents that we bought pita bread or Markouk from India market and they looked fine from the outside but they were festered with mold from the inside. Today finally I had it and called the store and they said “you should check before buying”! I am definitely going to report them to the department of health. I’m including a picture of the bread I bought last night and opened it this morning for breakfast. 🤮

We go to India market to find persian stuff and most of the time we can find what we are looking for. It is a great place to buy fresh herbs and vegetables too. I wish the place was a bit cleaner but it is what it is! I recommend this place to someone and after she visited the place she said : but they don’t have organic products!! Lol don’t go there expecting fancy...

The manager ,an obese guy with big belly is nasty and very rude. He called me stupid and claimed I didn’t know how to read just because there was a misunderstanding on a price of a product. The cashier a short skinny guy was also yelling at me over the same issue. I too work in retail and believe it is not appropriate to confront and abuse customers who keep you in business, no matter what the circumstance is . He has zero customer service skills, very proud you would think he owns the store. I just learnt the uncle owns the place so he can not face any disciplinary action. If this is the kind of manager the owner wants to run his business, he will definitely lose many customers. I am never going back to this place and will tell everyone I know about this haughty, despicable, disrespectful and unprofessional...
