The Home Depot — Attraction in Wareham

I don't want to get going on a rant about this particular Home Depot, but OMG! We went in to look at dishwashers. After looking around, we decided we wanted to purchase a refrigerator, which came with a free freezer, and a kitchen suite that came with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. We told the person helping us that we would pick the appliances up ourselves, we didn't require their delivery service. We were told, there wasn't anyone in the store capable of placing an order and the appliance department manager would call us the following day. No one ever called. Two days before the sale ended, I called to place my order before it was over. I was put on hold and disconnected three times. Adding insult to injury, the woman who answered the phone acted as if I was bothering her. I did finally manage to get someone who helped me, but I was amazed at how we were treated. The sale I wanted to take advantage of, I was told didn't exist.. Thankfully, I took pictures of the sale advertisement in the store when we were there, otherwise, they wouldn't have honored it.. The person who helped me, made a point to tell me, he didn't make a commission on the sale..... I found that so strange. Like, do I now owe you something for doing your job?? If you want to purchase something from this store, go into it with patience and time, otherwise you might blow a gasket. I was told, I'd receive my order December 23rd with a disclaimer that it could be later than the 23rd given the holidays. I started this adventure of ordering items from HomeDepot on September 27th and might, that's miigghhtt, receive my order by December 23rd, that's three months. THREE MONTHS!! Thanksgiving will be interesting this year without an oven! The sale price was approximately 3300.00$, I was told my order totaled over five thousand dollars. Figuring that discrepancy...

Pro desk was no help for my addition project. I ordered my windows and doors from here. Windows showed up wrong first time around. Now I'm waiting past when I was told they would be delivered. Also my front door and slider is now late according to when I was told they would be delivered. I've made multiple calls and talked to two different people from the pro desk about this matter. Worked with now 4 different people at this location to correct and try to find out what's going on and yet here I am waiting. Not just for my doors and windows but a phone call back with an explanation. Might have to call corporate I don't know what else to do. My framers have now left and I'm at a complete stand still on this project because of this location.* EDIT DATE * NOW SEPTEMBER 26TH* Here I am back again with the updated review. STILL NO WINDOWS!!! Do not purchase anything from Home Depot if you value your sanity We used to love Home Depot for the home we built and our architectural business. We recently purchased an LG washer and dryer. The installer delivered it, left it in the hallway, and then the installer came back five days later to install it. After installation (which they didn't call us in advance for; they showed up at 7:30 am unannounced), the dryer didn't work. The installer installed it and then said we have to have a drain pan installed. Our plumber did that at a cost of $300. After about 15 calls, Home Depot said they no longer cover it after 48 hours and we have to contact the manufacturer. It would not have been possible to see that the dryer didn't work sitting in the hallway uninstalled. LG eventually came after we spoke with them several times. It turns out the Home Depot installer (Pro Home Services) broke the gas valve during installation.
