Wangari Gardens — Attraction in Washington

Very calm.Some day's ,I see a guy walking a low slack tightrope.It's also a dog park and a food garden.The park is like island. Washington Hospital and Children's Hospital Center is just across the street.As a child,I went CHC for a deep glass foot puncture.The doctor's did not have a basin large enough for my foot.I was a pretty big kid.I have fond memories of D.C. before gentrification. Pretty well-tended and publicly accessible space! Lots of open grass as well and several benches, making it a worthwhile picnic spot if you're within walking distance. Trash does accumulate around the benches since there aren't trashcans nearby, but the space is big enough that it can be avoided....

Decent little community garden.. benches are all falling apart and the grass isn't well maintained.. I went to see if it was a decent little area to let my kids play while at children's national but decided i wouldn't want my kids...
