The manager told me in these words “I guess you’ll just have to write a bad review online then”— so here it is!!!! Our 6rd old son had a Birthday party at Wonderland for 6 kids! We also had plenty of adults with us. With our entire birthday party we spent about $250 with additional pizza/games/ and most importantly unlimited mini-golf and UNLIMITED LASER-TAG. Well, we did this party for my daughter 1 1/2 yrs prior and it was AWESOME!!! We were so happy with the all the Fun the kids/adults had!!! It was the best, and no clean-up!!! Well, this time it was much much different. Everyone got there at 6:30- our pizza didn’t come out until 7:40 which we had talked about 6:50/7. They kept saying cause they all of a sudden got “so busy”. It wasn’t that busy(much busier the prior birthday). Then as we are all standing in line for the Laser-tag I was getting so frustrated 25 min in— I went and talked to the manager and said “hey, this is a Laser-tag party and we have yet to play” he shrugged his shoulders and said “Yeah, it’s first come first serve.” (At some point it was mentioned the night before a staff member forgot to plug in all the vests so only 8 were working.) Well, It was time to do presents and cake and I asked the manager if he or someone would mind standing in for my husband — so he didn’t have to miss it!!! He said “I guess, but if someone came behind me I’d let them go in front of me.” So basically he was saying (while standing there looking like he was doing nothing with blood-shot eyes 🤨) he would not hold our place. My husband had to stand in line for close to 45 minutes for only ONE (far from unlimited) Laser-tag game. He basically missed most of the Birthday party. The previous party- they picked up our table. The host was present. They were so organized. But this time, We all had to clean up so there was enough room for our son to open presents. I complained, I called, talked to two managers. I asked for the Laser-tag part of my party to be refunded not my entire party. To be fair...We still ate pizza and played games. But they should not advertise UNLIMITED LASER-TAG Birthday party. .... when it’s not! — and their lack of customer service is ridiculous. I called to see if they would give me their owners phone number. As a small business owner— you better bet I would want to know that an employee told me to go “write your bad review online”. Cause Spokane’s word of mouth is how all small businesses succeed in this town. So here is my “bad” review and if you want a flawless birthday party— go somewhere else!!! Or just know, the management staff is very unhelpful and don’t expect UNLIMITED LASER-TAG. (BTW... I have never written a bad birthday review EVER- but that manager actually told me to...
Read moreDrove 3 hours to get here because my 10 year old son wanted to drive a go kart so so badly. I researched the area and this looked like the best place and price for go karts. We did not buy the pass, but we paid $11 per person (for 4 of us, husband, wife and kids ages 10 & 18) to drive go karts. The people inside were super friendly and helpful since we hadn’t been there before. They explained to take the receipt down to the go kart area and give it to the person there. We went out the back doors as we were instructed to and started on the sidewalk. We stopped at a split in the sidewalk where a large sign said to go left for go karts or right for something else (bumper boats I believe?). We went left and followed the sidewalk which stopped after going behind a large shed building and just became dirt. We continued on and came around to the cement go kart track where a worker exited a go kart and became super irritated at us and yelled that we cannot go that way and we need to follow the path. He told us we couldn’t be down there because the go karts weren’t all out yet. He was extremely rude even after we told him we were told inside to come down and give them our receipt and that we had followed the arrived sign. We went to wait where he instructed us and another group of older teens came down the same way we had. He then proceeded to yell at them the same way. Another worker showed up and accused us all of jumping a gate to get to where we were? I assure you none of our group jumped any fences or gates. He acted super annoyed that both of our groups were waiting at the gate and said we weren’t even allowed to be there yet. I explained again that were told go karts started at 11 and it was 11:15 so we were instructed by the inside workers to go to the track and show them our receipt. They finally allowed us to get in the karts after a while and explained the rules in an annoyed tone but we were at least able to go. Turns out $11 per person only gets you 5 minutes of time in the go karts. My son was so disappointed he cried once we got to the car both because of the short time and also how we had been spoken to by the workers. He had been excited for this trip for months and had me measure him numerous times to be sure he was tall enough to drive. He was so upset and honestly we all thought ir was absolutely ridiculous. If you don’t like to work around people you shouldn’t choose jobs that require you to do so. Honestly I won’t come back to this place even though the indoor staff was amazingly helpful and the arcade games looked fun. The two running the go karts should be reprimanded but honestly it won’t help. They should find jobs where they aren’t able to ruin a child’s first dream vacation of...
Read moreAlways saw Wonderland from the side of the road but this was our first time going. We got two 4 hour spring passes & the $9.99 pizza and pitcher of soda which is an amazing deal we also got $35 in tickets which equaled 250 tickets ( tickets are a little expensive). Me 40 & my 11 year old daughter did both golf areas indoor/outdoor (18 holes) SO fun and pretty cool set up, challenging but not to hard (think it took 1/2 an hour each golf coarse). Outdoor has benches & can bring drinks to both indoor/outdoor (idk about bringing food to golf probably outside)..She did Go Carts 3 times, I tried to also I fit well but it wouldn't buckle. They fit 350 pounds I'm not even close to that so that was sad and embarrassing (they need belt extenders!) still loved watching my my daughter though & the guy was great about rules, helping people stuck, and friendly, he did try helping with my belt just to small also Go Carts close at 7pm, we were a little shocked by that since they are open until 9pm We did lazer tag 4 times sooooooo fun & the ladies were SO sweet very good about rules to. We did inside games those were fun all worked ( the bumper boats weren't ready yet due to the weather or rock wall)..Food is delicious. Parking is great. When they accidentally threw our drinks away they replaced them when you buy drinks free refills. Busy but not so busy that it's uncomfortable. Only complaint is it was super hot in lazer tag & inside golf. Only problem that arised was the seat belt & I was charged the normal amount for pizza and a pitcher of soda instead of the sale price but they fixed the problem right away and reimbursed it should show on my card in a few days, all staff are friendly.. We went 4 to 8 pm on a Wednesday 3rd of April. I definitely recommend & would go back! Would be great for families with kids 7ish & up (48" to drive Go Carts and under 7 may not be able to understand how to play lazer tag. The vests are also a little heavy for tiny people & guns also have to have a bigger hand width to push buttons. Also prize games are kinda tall & golf clubs are a little to tall for under 7. I'd recommend for a family of alot of littler kids Chucky Cheese but if only one or two small kids they could do some stuff with help at Wonderland they wouldn't have 0 fun & parents could take turns watching them to do activities with older kids. I Definitely recommend a tall 7 year old & up , great for teens, great for date nights, great to go alone and just have fun. Disability friendly except lazer tag up stairs and lower level golf those have alot of stairs. Definitely will go back definitely...
