I went there today at 11:00 am to pick up two tires from site to store. I was standing there at the site to store pick up location and was ignored by employees until somebody graced me with their presence. After they scan my order barcode they scramble to find my order. After they found the tires they took me to automotive to mount them. From there they took ages JUST to take my information and take my keys. At 11:58 am the manager Erica tells me it was going to take about 1.5 to 2 hours because they were going out to lunch. I said oh well ok. I thought to myself what choice do I have, I needed the tires mounted. Fast forward 2:38 pm the technician comes in and tells me they can't mount two tires that they have to do all four. That all my tires where all bad. I told him NO only the front tires needed replacing and the back tires were practically new. He said oh I already removed them and took all the air out and now I have to put them all back. I told him" well couldn't you guys have told me this nearly 3 hours ago? I had my kids unwell and sick and I unfortunately had to take them with me through this ordeal. I needed the tires to take them to their appointments. I told him to put my new tires in my trunk so I could take them somewhere else. Unfortunately I needed to run back to Naugatuck and pick up another child from school and my other kids just had enough of the dirty uncomfortable lobby. I regret not talking to the manager but they seem like they don't care at all. I called the store to talk to the manager three different times today. I was put on hold first time for 18 minutes and then they hung up and I redialed. Second time after that about 30 minutes then they hung up again, I redialed. Third time for about 40 minutes and hung up again. I called corporate and I was told the store manager was going to call me in about one to two business days. Read moreI gave this Walmart 3 stars because the prices are as expected for Walmart however when I went to ring out my order the #of the register was flashing yet again it seems every time I go to this Walmart and I go to cash-out there is a light blinking at the cash-register and it always takes a long time for someone to come and help out the cashier I don't know if they are not trained very well I'm not sure or they are they just not allowed to do anything but scan items and if they don't scan an item and have to do something else they have to call their superior I don't know what the deal is over there but it wastes time and they make You wait, today I waited for 10 to 15 minutes before it was my turn And sometimes the wait can be even longer also, I know this is my fault I accidentally used my Walmart Mastercard thinking it was my debit-card from my bank and it asked me if I wanted cash-back and I said yes thinking it was my bank card but then I realized it was my Walmart card that I had put in to the card machine and when I asked the cashier to please void the transaction and start over and that I would give her back the money she asked her superior if it would be possible to do that and they told me that there is nothing they could do so I called my Walmart card and I knew that there is probably nothing that they could do either but I just wanted to make them aware that there should be a way for the cashier to void everything and return everything so that they could start the transaction over because I know it was my mistake but I just wanted to return the money or return all the merchandise and start over so the Wal-Mart credit company is ridiculous for not letting the store have that option. Read moreI never use this branch to shop because of it's disorganization, but unfortunately an order I placed online decided to source the product from here for delivery. I am not sure how but somehow they managed to lose track of two TVs and three large high tech pots.
Delivery was dispatched to be made on the 8th and somehow the driver was still on his way up to the 21st, even though I'm just across town. Then they foolishly decided that even though they definitely never came, to mark it as delivered on the 6th. Red flag 1: how could something arrive before it even left?
After calling Walmart corporation customer service on the 21st, they investigated and found that the delivery definitely left the store and never confirmed coming to the customer, so all systems show that whoever took it still had for some reason. They knew something didn't add up and it wasn't my fault, so fortunately I was able to get a refund.
After calling this place, and sitting through an 18 minute wait and then 4 transfers, all 4 workers told me that THEY DON'T even make home deliveries from here. So tell me how on earth something left your store dispatched for me when you guys don't even offer this service?
The 4th person was finally able to answer my question and they told me that who ever took it suddenly claimed to have delivered it to me back on the 10th, the day AFTER the investigation. Red flag 2. Thank God for screenshots and emails. No one has any real explanations for where my items went, so Corp and I can only assume someone on the inside "lost" (took) it and tried to make me pay for it.
