Seventeen years ago, my husband and I purchased our wedding rings from Roth Jewelers. When we bought it, the process was explained to us and we were not rushed or pushed into buying anything other than what we wanted. I was able to look at and try on various styles to see what was most "like me". I LOVE my ring and had a wonderful experience purchasing it.
I currently live in Chicago. Last week, I noticed that I had lost the diamond from my setting and couldn't find it. Fortunately, it was insured and I was travelling to Waterloo to visit my family the next day. I spoke with the manger, Kevin, on the phone and stopped by Roth's as soon as I was in town. He showed me a comparable diamond (which was actually even higher quality than the original) and explained the process to get the new diamond and the setting repaired. Two days later, Kevin called me and let me know that my ring was finished and that I could take it back to Chicago with me. It looks brand new and I even teared up when I put it back on my finger-it took me right back to my wedding day! It is truly as beautiful as it was when we bought it! (When we picked up my ring, my mother also got her ring cleaned and the prongs checked in just a few minutes. Her ring also looks brand new!)

Read moreI can not say enough great things about Roth. This is my grandma's wedding set. It was given to her in 1958 and I inherited it after her death. When I got it I knew it needed some work, at the very least I knew that the main diamond had come out. I received this and a few other pieces that the manager Kevin was able to quickly appraise at my appointment. He discovered that this ring needed 20 prongs fixed and one of the accent diamonds replaced, I also got it resized so that I can wear it. I got the call on Monday that it was done. It only took 10 days for all that work. I went to pick it up today and it looks FANTASTIC. It's as good as new. I'm still tearing up when I look at it. I can't thank Kevin and the rest of the staff at Roth enough for taking care of this priceless piece of jewelry for me. ...
Read moreOur family did business with Mr. ROTH since 1965. Such a fair person. Of course our sons also did business with them. We are done. My son who has been married for 26 years has a wife that prefers the white gold instead of yellow gold. She was taking her wedding rings to be coat e d in the silver color and it is a bit costly. So 2 years ago son decided to have her diamonds put into a platinum setting so no more bother coating. Well, something was wrong with the new setting because it has been turning to yellow color. Kevin has done nothing. We have tried many times to have them fix this problem. Done nothing but offer to coat this ring. Now we have grand kids getting married. Not going to Roth. We are going to Susong. What a shame Kevin isn't the good business owner...
