Steve's Wheels and Deals — Attraction in Watertown

Went to see an item that was confirmed to be there the night before and still showed to be in stock as of an hour and 15min into the store’’s opening. I even sent a message to say we were coming to see the item before we left home. To no avail. We arrived and were told by an associate that he thought the item was Sold (despite still showing as available online) but that he would double check with the owner who he thought sold it. When he returned and confirmed its sold status, my husband and I briefly relayed how far we had driven in traffic and our frustration at having lost an hour of driving time to come see the posted item. The owner’s response, as he approached us from the office, was shocking - First words were, “don’t like it? Well then get out of my store; I won’t be chastised.” In a manner that reeked of arrogance and even frightened my 7-year old who hid behind me, he continued to speak combatively. After leaving, I messaged the owner and suggested he remove the posting that still showed the item as available, for other people’s sake. We will never give this place our business - Buyer beware!

Omg , this place is great ! Tons of interesting finds and awesome bargains . You can spend hours in here looking around and they have a little bit of everything . I try to go as often as I could because Steve is constantly getting new ( and old ) stuff . Today I managed to score a nice stoneware bowl , new dish towels , a cafe picture for my kitchen and an array of gloves . I got a dozen cotton pack ( multiple uses ) , gardening gloves and a nice heavy work pair for my hubby . The price was so reasonable and inexpensive that I thought I heard incorrectly. $25 bought us: 4 dinner plates, trivet, banana holder, wire whisk, can opener, large sauce pot, 2 small pots for plants and a watch and I might even be forgetting something! I said I wanted a can opener, he directed me to "housewares" then later asked if I found one and I said I wasn't in the mood to look through all the utensils and gadgets but would be back, but no need because presto he found me the can opener!
