I can’t speak more highly of this shop and it’s owner Karen. I was so happy to hear that this shop moved to Watertown down the street from my house making it just that much easier to stop and shop there. Karen’s candles are the ONLY candles I burn in my house these days and she will refill the decorative glass jars some of her candles come in once they are burned down! The candles burn forever and smell strong enough to smell throughout your home. I get so many compliments about the candles when I host at my house and Nutmeg Handcrafted candles are burning. They make the best presents for anyone who loves a good quality candle. Karen makes every item with such care and to such high quality. She also offers her handmade soaps which are made just the same. Nutmeg Handcrafted is my one stop shop for all my unique present needs, they also can wrap what you buy in beautiful gift bags making it the perfect last minute place to shop in a pinch. I can stop there the day of an event and always find the cutest gifts for every occasion. Karen patiently has explained to me what crystals offer what meanings and how to sage my home correctly, as she has an array of different crystals, palo santos, sage bundles, and incense for all your witchy needs. Karen has also gone above and beyond to make a special one of a kind candle for a family member of mine whose pet passed away and made a custom label for the candle to make for a unique and thoughtful gift. Needless to say she cares about her customers and will create what you need if you can’t already easily find it in her store! I’ve bought a beautiful mirror there for my sweet baby girls nursery as well that I was so excited to find. Karen knew so much about the artist that made the mirror and it made it that much more of a special and unique item. All of her items are local or have meaning behind why she has it in her store. If you haven’t already, stop by and check this store out… you will not be disappointed...

Simply put - DECADENT! I’ve never had candles which smelled so amazing! The presentation of the candle, with its eye catching labeling on the mason jar and eye catching colors, makes it a centerpiece that can be placed anywhere in your home. Now, for the important part, the scents themselves - INCREDIBLE! I own four varieties, and each one is soothingly pleasant and Uber refreshing! Also, the alluring bouquet of each candle lingers long after blowing them out, dispensing a divine aroma to whatever room I place them in, which I’ve never had with any other candles I’ve ever purchased. MUCH better than Yankee Candle, in ALL facets! I HIGHLY recommend trying these candles out, I ASSURE you, you will NOT be disappointed! And with the large selection of scents available, I’m sure you will find one that you will enjoy just as much as I do! Love these products! I have a candle in each room, but honestly it only takes one to make my whole house smell amazing. Unlike most candles that I buy from stores only keep their scent until about 1/4 of the way through, these keep a strong lasting scent even if the candle isn’t lit. AND THE SOAPS give you such a natural, clean feeling without leaving any sticky/slimy feeling like most scented soaps do, the clover fields is my favorite ! Karen is hard working, very personable, and you can just tell everything she makes is made with love! This is definitely a business...
