I normally don’t do give reviews but I have to commend Evolutions. I recently placed an order to be sent to the hospital for a good friend. I chose the “evolutions design” where the florist picks the flowers and design so you don’t know what you’re paying for. Trust the process with them because they did not disappoint. The flowers brought joy to the recipient. Not only was the arrangement beautiful but we ordered the flowers at 9:30AM and they were delivered by 2:00PM.
The post above was the reason we opted to go with them instead of Kruger floral for funeral arrangements. In total we ordered a casket spray along with 6-7 other arrangements. To say that we were disappointed is an understatement. The flowers were delivered the day before the funeral on 11/17. When I arrived Friday evening to help set up, I could see from afar that the flowers were not up to our expectations. Right away I noticed the white roses (that we paid extra for) were already wilting. The sprays were not full. The hearts were not properly shaped. The casket spray was ok. We were truly disappointed in the quality of all the flowers and the sizes of the arrangements considering the amount we paid for them. Also, we ordered blue flowers and we got purple. If the blue flowers we paid extra for weren’t going to be able to be done, we should have been notified. Truth be told, we will not be going back when it comes to funeral items. What we ordered and what we got were not the same things. And the saddest part is there is no re-do. The flowers were even more wilted by the day of the funeral services and this was a Hmong funeral which meant it needed to last more than one day. Some people will say that the condition of the flowers were due to the weather but another family member ordered and brought one from MN and the flowers were beautiful thoughout the entire funeral.
Another update: Evolution’s did contact me back and try to make it right with a very small refund. I do have to commend them for...
Read moreI had stopped here while shopping for wedding vendors in Wausau; loved the shop, loved the creativity there and put down my deposit for our wedding day after explaining to them that I live out of state and that I would need someone that was willing to work with me via phone and email through pictures and conversations.
As the wedding approached, not only did no one call to discuss details with me, after I sent pictures to a designer with ideas and reached out to them, they told me how hard this would be if couldn't come in and discuss it. Which I had already explained, was not possible based on being out of state. So they then suggested for me to reach out with a few dates/times that worked to have a phone call to discuss details...and they never emailed or called me back...
Needless to say after that last stunt, I had to take my business elsewhere but wanted to share my experience as a frustrated bride trying to do her best to plan while being out of state and didn't want any other bride in the future to have to deal with more stress than necessary.
As a last note, when I called to cancel they were very apologetic about the situation and did refund my deposit so I really appreciated that. But with the wedding quickly approaching and with multiple other options in Wausau, I just don't have time for places that don't want to work a little bit for my business and money..and bottom line needed a vendor that I felt like I could rely on and trust...which unfortunately hadn't happened...
Read moreI live in South Milwaukee and visit Wausau every couple months. I ALWAYS work in a visit to EID. I boast to everyone this is my favorite place to shop! Word of mouth is the best advertisement! Having said that, my visit yesterday was very disappointing, from a customer service standpoint. I felt rushed and pressured. From the time I walked in the door having an employee pressure me to buy a velvet rabbit to being followed around the store being pressured by that same employee to buy everything I touched to having a second employee tersely remind me the store was closing in fifteen minutes after 45 minutes into my visit, to the high pressure employee grabbing items out of my hands to put at the register and then once again pressuring me to buy candy at the register once I was ready to check out. While the vast variety of awesome wares and inventory always impress me, the employees were rude. I visited on March 30th at 2pm. I spend $190 and would have likely spent more. Hopefully, on my next visit, this new approach to customer service will be modified...
