As a former GameStop employee myself, I can definitely tell a good store from a bad store, and this place is one of the best. Well it might be susceptible to mall traffic surges that lead to long lines, that alone is pretty much the only drawback to this store. Aside from that it's incredibly clean, really well organized, and always keep stock of the must haves. They're 5 for 5 on switch games I've come to pick up on blind faith, without checking stock lol. Beck is the gal who's helped the few transactions. One of the nicest and most well informed GameStop employees I've come across. I Highly recommend this store to anyone who prefers a GameStop that doesn't have the typical "regulars" that roam the store all day, typically found in places like west Allis or Bayshore(when it was open) and tie up the lines and bother paying customers. I'm married with 2 kids. The last thing I need is some blow hard regular half my age trying to sell me games he likes. So that was the initial reason for starting to go to GameStop mayfair instead of Target or best buy. Pick the right time of day to go and you'll find Mayfair to be one of the best...
Read moreTerrible Manager: we had a problem at the mayfair gamestop store and we got the worker to scratch the back of the gift card bcs we kept scratching it it the wrong way so long story short the worker scrached it for us and messed it up so he called in the manager and the manager did not help and he was raising his voice and called the security bcs we tried to get a refund but we left about to leave the mall and the manager followed us after calling for security and taunting us several times thank God the security were understandble. sadly we couldn't get the managers name hope he gets fired!!! they need a negative star !!!! I normally never have to do this because I use the website and it has most games listed with clear info about their value but in this case I was unable to find it on the website at all. I called the store, and tried to explain what was going on, before I was even done explaining the worker said "I can't do that, you have to use the website".
