well I stayed at the extended stay out by Mayfair Road The staff when I first got there was awesome I want to say her name was La Quinta she was awesome employee She checked us into room 227 which had bed bugs about 20 at the head of the bed We noticed them about three hours After we checked in Took about 25 pictures showed them to her she was awesome about it switched our rooms immediately but the downfall was she switched us to room 330 Which had boo-boo all over the toilet seats and bed sheets So I went down to the front desk to let her know she was about to switch the rooms I told her i would down the toilet and change the sheets just needed the objects to do so also recorded myself doing that ..... She let me know that she will write a note so that I can get a refund in the morning which was no problem .... The next morning come which is a Sunday and it was a snow day so I'm assuming housekeeping did not come in it was only one guy there then he was fussing about doing housekeeping I could hear him in the hallway But by this time it is time for us to check out so I go to check out all is well when I called to get my refund the lady at the front desk this is no lie I recorded her telling me that she could not give me my refund back because the sheets are repeat the sheets smell like smoke ... I have never heard anything like that in my life and I have been going to the hotels about every weekend I have a group home so I'd like to get away when I can and yes I am a smoker but to tell me I cannot get a refund back because the sheets smell like smoke was the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard in my life ... I Call back left my number with the manager of course he never called so I called corporate they could not give me my money back but they gave me free hotel rooms most definitely will not be going back to that one .... Note to self people when you're dealing with the hotel chain that does not care about their customers always record yourself and the conversations you have with them .... Because the Guy the manager does not care never called me back .... Note to extended-stay get housekeepers that want to clean and have them to stop lying on your customers ..... if it wasn't for corporate I would have posted them pictures all over the Internet With my recordings I started to take it to social media but it was not worth it ..... Once I email corporate the recordings and things I think they were more dumbfounded than me ... The lady could not stop apologizing and let me know if they were most definitely look into a lot of different matters...

So for almost 3 weeks now, I've been temporarily staying at the Extended Stay in Wauwatosa. This was a solo adventure that I was sort of forced to take after having issues with a ruthless tenant residing in an Airbnb that I manage. I was really in need of some solid sleep and all around R&R, and after reading a few positive reviews, I thought I'd book accommodations for 1 week...just to test out the waters.
At 1st glance upon arriving at the facility, I was extremely impressed. The entry ways were clean, there was no loitering outdoors & the front desk staff was superb. Namely staff personnel named, Heather, was particularly great with welcoming me & making sure I was comfortable; as it was my 1st time in an Extended Stay.
Throughout week one, I couldn't get over how peaceful & quiet it was. There were times where it felt that no one else was on the 3rd floor with me. I mean, sure, I would hear the occasional door close back & fourth, as I was directly across from the trash and housekeeping closets, but other than that, it was perfect for the serenity I was seeking.
That is, however, fast forward to just a few days ago. A new arrival was assigned to the room right next door to me & this person has been totally inconsiderate & downright destructive. Apparently he/she/they, brought along a booming stereo system and have been blasting rap music (all kinds, really) at ear bleeding levels. And I mean literally all times of the day. On this past Saturday morning, at 7:13 AM, I was awoken to the sounds of rap artist Eminem blaring and beating through the walls. When I say the walls were vibrating, yeah, I mean just that. I was beyond flabbergasted. I did mention this in part to a day staff person, but I don't think they believed that it was as bad as I had expressed. Little does she know, I was close to calling the police at the point, but I just prayed that maybe that party would be checking out soon.
Bummer that one hotel guest can ruin a whole entire experience. If this continues, I'll report the matter again, if nothing is done, I'll certainly be contacting Wauwatosa's police department....

Read moreThe manager Liz is quite rude to both guests (to the point of her harassing me), as well as to her staff. Someone needs to remind her that NOT ONLY IS SHE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE BUT ALSO A MANAGER!!!! I've been here for over a month now and have been paying weekly, yet EVERY WEEK SHES KNOCKING AT MY DOOR TELLING ME, BASICALLY PAY OR GET OUT!, Then today, she claims I didn't make a payment when actually I PAID HER IN CASH!!! The 2nd shift lady Walmar (WONDERFUL AND VERY PROFESSIONAL) thought she had to kick me out because she was told to by Liz if I didn't pay by 5pm. Walmar on the other hand is very nice and respectful not RUDE LIKE LIZ AT ALL!, but very professional and has GREAT COMMUNICATION SKILLS!, but I've seen her be mis treated by Liz and it makes me (a customer) VERY UNCOMFORTABLE! NO ONE SHOULD BE TREATED THE WAYIVE SEEN WALMAR TREATED ESPECIALLY IN FRONT OF PEOPLE! I'm honestly wondering why is it that I've been paying WVERY WEEK NO ISSUES yet EVERY PAYDAY Liz is at my door telling me I MUST MAKE MY PAYMENT OR CHECK OUT! I don't see her knocking on other people's doors and threatening to kick them out! I enjoy my stay here very much AFTER 1ST SHIFT WEN LIZ LEAVES, UNTIL THEN, I HIDE IN MY ROOM IN FEAR OF RUNNING INTO LIZ WHO IS ALWAYS JUST RUDE TO ME FOR NO REASON AT ALL! My mental health conditions are hyper'd up when I see Liz because no matter how nice I am to her, she's just rude! I'm asking someone to please remind Liz not only is she in customer service but that she's a manager also!!!!! I am very uncomfortable around her and have had to take extra medicine for my panic disorder after her banging at my door telling me I must pay or leave! Very uncomfortable until 2nd shift comes. Completely different environment on 2nd shift! Please help.
