I went there for all my baking products plus more flowers to decorate arrangements plus yarn too. Went there on the 10th of February for my new cookies cutters and all my decorations like frostings Red and Pink and sprinkles plus the meringue mix to make better quality on my piping frosting. I also bought cute bags to put my cookies in .I had a large list of friends thst I was sharing my cookies and snacks I made. My total groups friends were from the "Cancer Survivor Group (15) of them in Waynesboro and the rest were from Cancer group at UVA..I enjoy sharing (1st.) are the Valet group that take care of me when I get to at UVA early and leave late. When I'm exhausted those kids care for me making sure I'm safe in the car. And the people surrounding me at the Cancer area where I work with ladies who need hair and Assys. That is why I enjoy going to Michael's for all my fun things on baking/cookie sheets too especially. I truly enjoy going there when I get great discount pricing on items I'm buying, especially when I buy large quantity like I did that evening. Read moreThis location continues to disappoint on so many levels. The store is on the second floor and the escalators have been broken for what seems like a year now. As someone with mobility issues it is something that should have been a priority fix. I realize they have a tiny elevator, but it doesn't seem in good condition either and only fits a couple people at a time. Since they don't price match their online prices, which are always lower, I have tried to do store pick-up a few times. They always cancel the order saying they are out of stock of what I ordered. Twice in a row I was in store looking at what I ordered, so they aren't accurately checking shelves for items then canceling orders anyway. I brought the item up to them once and they said I couldn't do that. Policy is an employee has to get the item and to come back in 24 hours. They just don't seem to have much concern for their customers. There are a couple of nice employees in the Framing Department that deserve...

I was looking at the merchandise in the back of the store. There is a stock room RIGHT beside it. I had glanced right over at the door because there is 2 huge windows that lead to the backroom, and an employee goes "Ahem", and asks suspiciously "May I help you with something", while pointing at the door.
No. I was just browsing and looked that direction because I noticed a huge mess inside the room. I didn't go back there, or even consider it, and if the windows is so PRIVATE then MAYBE it shouldn't be right beside merchandise. There is no reason to make people feel like they are being looked at as some sort of a criminal when they haven't done anything wrong. Again, there is merchandise literally a foot within the door. Anyone would notice the door as I'm sure they do on a regular basis every single day.
Train the employee's to treat people with dignity. Shame on...
