I needed an engagement ring sized 3.5 sizes bigger. I took it to another jeweler first who only gave me a set price and asked if I wanted to go ahead and do it. It was cheap but they didnât even look at the ring. After looking at their reviews online and seeing others were disappointed with everything but the price, I decided to take it to Kayâs. Even talking to them on the phone told me they were better than the other place. They said they needed to see if the ring needed more metal so that it wouldnât stretch the current metal and break upon resizing. The other store never mentioned that. The first thing I noticed when I was in the store was other people were actually in this store shopping (the other has been around a much longer time and no shoppers were in there). The second thing that really impressed me was how they immediately looked at the ring under a microscope and told me the current condition of it. The other store didnât so any such thing- they took it and sized it and that was it. Stacey M is amazing and was who helped me, although the other lady was also super kind and insightful as well. Stacey took her time with me and explained everything she saw. I was so impressed I asked her to size two more rings while I was there. She was honest and patient. Sizing didnât even come up until towards the end after she inspected, told and showed me everything she saw, and cleaned the rings. She even taught me how to take care of them so nothing happens to them in the future. I highly recommend this store and will definitely be back. Other places may be cheaper but this decision saved my rings and will save me in the long run. Cheaper definitely doesnât mean better. If you want quality service, respect, and honesty, this is the...
Read moreI wish I had never gotten any jewelry at Kay in Waynesboro, VA. Every time I go in there a seasoned employee starts helping me and as soon as a more important customer walks in they pass me on to a new employee who has to end up waiting and asking the seasoned employee a thousand questions in order to finish my transaction. I have no issues being patient with new staff but multiple times now Iâve been passed on to different employees and ended up waiting over an hour for what shouldâve taken no more than 10 minutes. Today no one could answer my question and I had to wait on a callback from their store manager who told me everyone is new and I should understand what thatâs like. I do understand but Iâve spent over 2 hours in the last 2 weeks trying to get things resolved, I went in to ask a question and saw they were busy so I waited until the next day and was the first customer in the door, youâd think I wouldâve been taken care of first instead of them prioritizing the 2nd customer that walked in which they did. Kay maybe you shouldâve kept all the trained employees you let go of after quarantine was over. Itâs pretty terrible that you led them all to believe for months that they would get their jobs back once you reopened. What a horrible company, if I hadnât already bought items that are covered under warranty here before Covid I certainly wouldnât continue to support it, and I will never buy additional items from this or any other...
Read moreMy husband and I, along with our two children, visited Kay Jewelers in Waynesboro, Va to have my wedding rings repaired. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted and assisted by Kelly, who provided outstanding service. She carefully explained the repair process and even kept the mood light with a little humor, which made the experience enjoyable.
The turnaround time was much quicker than I expectedâabout a week and a half later, I received an email that my rings were ready. When I returned to pick them up, Kelly immediately recognized me, retrieved my rings, and made sure they fit perfectly and looked just right.
Kelly made the entire process seamless, stress-free, and even fun. I couldnât be happier with the service I received. Top-notch experience from...
