The iconic stadium and its trapping s provides an unbelievably fun family experience.
While all seats offer a great view of the field, you may have to battle the sun's glare by sitting in the "East" stands. Its tradeoff is that this side is primarily the student side ( the "West" stands are designed for alumni) and can offer more fun and excitement than their opposite side generally does.
Aside from the view and particular seat placements, the concessions are varied, their lines tend to move quickly and the Studium offers an answer for disabled fans.

It was family and EBCI weekend; we were impressed from the moment we drove on campus. Very friendly staff directing us to parking and welcoming us to the festivities. Easy to get around both the stadium and campus. Did not know what to expect as had never heard of Western Carolinas University until nephew enrolled. Great school, incredible marching band and half-time show and the passion the Catamount alumni bring and display is infectious. Can't wait to go back next...
ย ย ย Read moreThis is a nice place to watch a football game. Why? It is located in a very scenic area, and has ample parking. It is also well maintained, and easy to access. The food choices are a little sparse, but this is not a real issue. The only issue with this stadium, in fact, is that it in the middle of nowhere. This means that for those traveling to the game from out of town they are required to eat in Asheville. Or you could catch fast food on the highway. This is the only issue with the stadium.
