Catamount Jaxe is beautiful on the inside and has a warm and inviting atmosphere. I loved sitting next to the fire and catching up with family at their opening event, but the axe throwing itself was even more fun than originally anticipated. When we visited with friends who live in Cullowhee, it was the perfect place to go. I am very excited to see this attraction come to the Cullowhee area. The beer selection is great. So much fun! First time ax throwing and Ethan was an excellent instructor and very attentive throughout the entire evening. The bar was busy and running short staffed for the evening but you would never know it. Good drinks, fast, friendly, attentive service. Throw axes, play cornhole, giant jenga, indoor and outdoor seating, cozy fireplace seating and large bar.
