Hillside Grind is a comfortable coffeeshop where students often visit to socialize, study, or get their daily dose of coffee. They also offer soda, chai, tea, smoothies, muffins, and granola. The baristas are friendly and their drinks are always very tasty. The coffee shop is a ministry outreach of UKirk, the Presbyterian (PCUSA) student led ministry on campus. For this reason, coffee is offered at a 'suggested dontation'. There are couches, chairs, and tables inside as well as a few picnic tables outside. There is WiFi. Parking is free to customers. This place is run by campus ministry. It is run and operates on a suggested donation basis, which is great, but don’t come in here hoping for a quick cup of coffee. It’s a long, slow process to finally get your coffee and the volunteer on shift will have to run around and help with every other facet of the place while making your coffee.

   Read moreDidn't spend too much time here but from the moment I walked in I was impressed. It's a great building! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We ordered a couple of coffee drinks and they were perfection. It seems like a really great place for the college kids (yes, I'm old 🤪) to hang out in. We were kind of rolling through so we only got to take in the scenery for a short period of time. I will definitely be putting this on my list of places to head back to and spend...
