My daughter graduated a few years ago. She entered as very liberal, and left as mostly libertarian. She was so put off by the faculty, administration, and students actively stifling intellectual debate- anything straying from the Marxist/leftist agenda was openly mocked, and she feared speaking her mind or submitting any student assignments that didn't echo the far left agenda on anything. So she did what she had to in blabbering back what the faculty wanted to hear in her classes so she could get through. Utterly despicable. Read more30 years ago I received a very good science education at Wellesley. It's in the region of the Northeast with lots of colleges and near enough to Boston to enjoy what there is in the city. At that time the campus was beautiful and still very historic. In fact when I first arrived they had the old gym with the antiquated changing rooms down in the basement ! I also enjoyed walking the campus and enjoying the wonderful architecture. I loved the contemporary, angular design of the student center against an old, curvy tree.
