Holiday Wine & Liquor — Attraction in Weslaco

I went to this Place Twice this week to try to find things for beverages and gifts set for my company party. Let me tell you the Staff is Useless. Two heavy set guys stand by the counter talking and don't assist customers. Because they are too busy talking to each other to help clients. The same two guys did the same thing both times I visited the Store. The place is always empty I can see why because the lack of customer service is astounding. That's not even the Fun part. So I picked out a gift set was not asked if I found everything I needed or was there anything else I needed by the female running the register the only thing she said to me was here is your change. I genuinely wish I could talk to the owner! Because their level service is why this place is always empty. I just got waited on by the rudest checkout clerk I have encountered in the valley. I approached the checkout counter and saw clerk working on something, probably the cash register. I asked if I should checkout here or the other station. She said that I should check out at the first station. I hesitated not knowing what the first station was. She then yelled at me “the first station.” She rang up the charges and I dropped 2 tens on the counter. She said that she should throw my change at me, because I didn’t hand her the money. Just caught “that holiday spirit” in Weslaco on Christmas Eve!!!

I loved that all staff was is visible uniforms, which made navigating the clean and well-stocked store so easy!

What stood out was the friendly customer service even dispute the store being so busy for the holiday. Wines were on discount, which is exactly what I was picking up. And they sell the sharpest gift bags I’ve ever seen at a liquor store. Excellent.
