USA Twisterz — Attraction in West Caldwell

Horrible experience. I had my daughter’s birthday party and it was the worst party I’ve ever booked. The “coaches” who are not older than 15 host the party and they aren’t trained on common sense things. Like getting a pitcher of water instead of telling all the the kids to go to the water fountain and fill up a cup. They don’t do juice boxes for the party package either. Instead they do pitchers of powered $1 fruit punch?!?!?!?!? Even though The owner upsells the entire menu from the place next door. $35 a pie just to make an additional profit! As my guests were arriving she proceeded to have conversations with her friend in a very loud manner and then go host a private lesson as my party was starting. They forgot to order pizza so they had kids waiting in the party room. Naturally, once it arrived it was boiling hot and they couldn’t even eat it right away. After that the tween coach decided to tell me in front of everyone that even though it’s their fault the pizza was late we needed to hurry up because there was another party happening soon. Again, the owner should’ve pulled me to the side and apologized for the food but that would mean she had courtesy. For the games they insisted on playing games not involving the equipment “tag and musical chairs” by the entrance. What’s the point of a gymnastic party for $450 if they’re not going to be using the facility? I gave them one star because zero...

We had our sons 5th birthday here and I highly recommend it. The staff did an absolutely amazing job at keeping everything organized. We brought waters, juice boxes and chips and they set everything up for us and it looked so nice. They even set up our party favors and tied balloons to each one. We ordered extra pizza and sandwiches for the adults and the staff also helped plate everything and we're walking around asking if anyone wanted food which was great. They cleaned everything up and even helped load the gifts and extra food into our car. The kids had so much fun doing the obstacle course, they asked what our son would like doing and did a great job at catering the activities to him. They did a variety of activities too so it kept all the kids engaged. There are two different spots outside the gym people can sit to see what the kids were doing, or the adults were able to go on the gym floor in socks. Overall...

I would give this place ZERO stars if that were an option. My daughter spent years doing competitive gymnastics under the direction of Erin, the owner. She picks her favorites and shows blatant disregard for the other girls. She is supposed to be a mentor and leader to these young impressionable girls and ends up being so completely insensitive and hurtful by making it very clear and obvious who is her favorite or favorites. Every single family ended up leaving for other gymnastics locations. If your daughter has an interest in doing gymnastics at a competitive level, USA Twisterz will not be a favorable experience. It will leave your daughter feeling unworthy and she will take a blow to her self esteem should she not end up on Erin’s favorites list.
