Read moreThis venue is probably the most unorganized and rude venue I've ever been to. For starters, I've never gotten a response from them when I have tried to contact them with questions prior to a show.
So far I have been to two shows here and each time, none of the workers knew what they were doing or where people were supposed to be so they would just get mad at all the concert goers. I went to the Alan Walker show on the 19th and we had purchased parking while buying the tickets. Door were at 9pm, we got there a little after 6pm and the place was a ghost town. We tried to drive around to see if we could figure out where parking was going to be but no one was there. We had an address for parking but it was in another businesses parking lot that said we could not enter as it was monitored so we didn't want to just park there anyway. Finally we saw someone through the window of the venue and tried knocking just so we could quickly ask...we were COMPLETELY ignored. She sat there fixing her nails and makeup. We ended up just sitting in our car outside the venue. Then a worker comes out absolutely screaming at us and cussing telling us to leave and we can't park here, we kept trying to ask where parking was going to be or where we should (by this time it's already past 7pm) and he just kept cutting us off and screaming.
The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because of one specific worker who I've seen many times working at the Concord venue in Chicago who kindly just answered our question and always treats the concert goers with respect.
If an artist I like ever comes to The Radius...I will be going to another state to see said artist...
Read moreWent to see Anthrax, Black Label Society & Exodus a couple of days ago. Venue looked pretty cool inside. Hard to find parking. Bands got there a little later than expected so we had to wait longer for VIP entry. Which is completely understandable. They were still setting up when VIP was allowed in. They rushed the meet & greet. After meeting Anthrax we were told that we needed to go back outside & wait until the doors opened at 5:30. It was 4:45 & the temperature dropped. The rest of the VIPs who met BLS or Exodus were able to stay inside & buy merch when those of us who met Anthrax were told that we couldn't buy merch yet. Asked one of the security guards as to why people were buying merch when they told us not yet. Couldn't give us an answer. The workers were standing around basically doing nothing. We were told the rest of the VIPs would be coming outside as well, that didn't happen. When they were shown the email that we could stay inside to find seats before the crowd comes in, they completely ignored it & still made us wait outside. Wouldn't even let us in to go pee. They finally let the outside VIPs inside & everyone found their place to stand since this place is a standing venue only. The best thing about the concert were the bands. They made my night so much better. Once the show was over, we were rushed out of the building & were told we couldn't wait inside. It had started snowing & there was about 300 people getting out at the same time & trying to find their rides. This place shouldn't have been this disorganized since there were so many employees standing around talking &...
