I’ve been with Wintrust for almost 10 years I dealt with a few issues with them that I could over look, but this morning is my last straw with them and I’m closing my account. My wife tried to use my debt card to get an uber to work, and she was able to because uber said I had insufficient funds. Now May 13th, 2025 I woke up with 760 dollars in my account, and now on may 14th I have a negative 627.13. Read moreNever dealt with a bank that lack this much transparency. Never received a letter in the mail stating how long my funds will be held, when will the funds be released or anything. I have opened several bank accounts and very familiar with the process. The branch has froze the account and refuses to do the investigation on their own.
