Save yourself the trouble and don't come here. The rude and unhinged blonde woman who owns this place is a nightmare. I've been put off by her for a long time but kept coming back because I almost always received a good manicure but never again. I made the mistake of asking for the Wi-Fi password and was verbally accosted and talked down to about it. Sorry I wanted to use your Wi-Fi literally once out of the many times I come here what a total idiot I must be! I don't know what this lady's deal is but if I never see/talk to her again it would be too soon. They raised the prices and took away complimentary drinks and now they just speak rudely to their customers... cool. They don't offer anything that any other nail salon offers so save yourself the confusing misplaced anger of this woman.
Also I'd like to mention that I don't look like the normal clientele in Bucktown (I'm usually in comfy clothes/sweats and I have tattoos) but come on treat all of your customers the same
EDIT: are you kidding me with this long winded response. One of your repeat customers who’s been giving you money for years has these concerns and feels/is openly talked down to and this is how you respond. My tattoos are always visible as I roll up my sleeves and pant legs every time I go there and have tattoos on my ankles/wrists/forearms. That’s not even the point the point is that your manager is rude enough that multiple people have complained and feel disrespected by her. Maybe she’s just in the wrong line of business? I shouldn’t have to be spoken to like a child because I wanted to connect to the internet. I suggest that lady get some therapy or take a course in customer service because she is horrendous. I will have a nice...
Read moreThis was the worst pedicure experience I’ve ever had. I booked a spa pedicure on their website and received an email and calendar confirmation. When I arrived, they said they don’t check those so they didn’t have my appointment down. They came back and said they could do a regular pedicure instead. Then the tech poked my toes and hurt me, it was very unpleasant. There was no massage at all. No lotion at the end. The paint was applied very messily and most of the pedicure involved watching her correct her paint all over the edge of my nails. I wished I had declined staying at the beginning when they didn’t have my appointment. The one silver lining is that they acknowledged it was a bad experience and did not charge me for the pedicure...
Read moreWent in for a private party on a Thursday evening and the whole experience was great. They were very efficient and got everyone done (about 15 of us) in about 2 hours with varying services (manis/pedis). Everything was great until I left Chicago (I was only visiting family) and two of my nail chipped that SUNDAY. This was a gel (what they call no-chip manicure but use OPI-Gel products) manicure that should last just about 2 weeks typically. I'm extremely disappointed because now I need to go and PAY again to get my nails done because I cannot go back to the salon for their sloppy work to get it fixed. Overall, great customer service/customer experience,, poor quality...
