My new favorite cocktail bar. This place definitely belongs on world’s 50 best bars. Far better than any of the top NYC bars I’ve been to. I loved every cocktail I tried. I even tried and NA drink and it’s so good! I love that they have coffee and drinks day and night. It’s the judgement free zone. Super lovely staff with a lot of talent behind the bar.

I also love the atmosphere of this place. When it’s quieter and not packed you don’t feel like you’re alone in a bar. They created a cozy space that works for romantic moments and cozy friendly vibes as well as regular spaces for a business laptop moment. They have this incredibly luxurious curtain that segments the space to create an intimate experience for whatever your mood is. You feel like you’re having a private moment with your boo or able to have a fun catch up with your friends.

Honestly I’d hang out there day into night. They even have a pizza bagel on the menu….what?!?! Pizza in the evening pizza in the morning. You can have pizza anytime!

TLDR. Don’t sleep on this place. It’s the best day and night. Bring your buddies or bring a boo. F - it. Go solo because it’s the perfect...

Truce is a cozy fun new addition to the bucktown scene. Very creative cocktail offerings in the PM, and hot and iced coffees in the am. We went for PM, and my experience has me eagerly wanting to return for the AM experience. Our group tried: the absinthe frapp, with a very fun pandan whip, a final say, lemon pound cake, and passenger princess for the cocktails and also a matcha and bubbles for NA. All of which we loved. Service was fast and drinks were great, we didn't try and food this time.

Update for am experience - lovely chill coffee shop atmosphere, the matcha and bubbles is out of this world, newly introduced cold brew shandy is fantastic, the truce juice (today's was an orange/tangerine blend) was also fantastic!
