Bark West Dog Park - Membership Required — Attraction in West Columbia

I live two minutes from this park and was so excited to take my dog there, but unfortunately, the list of requirements is insane. First of all, I’ve never heard of a dog park that you have to pay for. I hope this park was not built with taxpayer funds. Secondly, I only give my dog rabies vaccination as she is an indoor only dog. When I took her to get micro chipped, I let the Humane Society recommend what vaccination she needed and those are the ones that she got. So that means that this dog park requires more vaccinations than the Humane Society recommends. That seems insane to me. Very...

Membership required should be put in the name or modify the Google search results. Typing "public dog park" while traveling should not bring this up as a result.

No public city park is requiring parents to pay fees OR prove that their kids are vaccinated. I understand wanting dogs to at least have the rabies vaccine but paying a fee is ridiculous when there’s dozens of public parks around that allow dogs FOR FREE and without applications.
