I went to Hobby Lobby's to pick up some costume for I checked Jo-Ann's and they did not have it so I went back to Hobby Lobby's two weeks later to get some more the first time I was there the girl did not want to cut the fabric I needed some more for what I was doing so I went back 2 weeks later to pick up some more a lady see me standing at the counter she turned her back bend over backwards to ignore me standing there around the Bell she didn't even get up and walk towards me around the corner another lady came I asked her if she had any more fabric like the one that I was looking for on the Shelf and was it 30% off like some of the others she looked at me with a nasty attitude and said no it's not and can erase divorce when she said it like good as saying don't bother me I asked her how much of it was on the road could she measure it she said just what you see do you want it I looked at her and I said nicely I think I'll just look around for a moment suit yourself she turned her back and started to help another lady who walked up she bother to smile at her and was more nicer and polite I started to walk away to look at a few other things but instead I found my feet heading towards the door that I came in that's the second Hobby Lobby's that I have been in and I notice both of the stores treat their customers cold and very rude I work retail myself and some days I even working the back unloading trucks I have been with the company that I am with for / several years when a customer comes in and do not see me and they need assistance there's no stone that they would not turn over to look for me ask for me when does not stop until they find me to get what they want because they know that I will go beyond the Call of Duty to satisfy their needs a good place to shop is real person is happy there are most likely to come back maybe I'm a little old school but that's usually what customers like Hobby Lobby's ever step up to the plate and started being nicer and respectable I just might come back but until then it has been real a real lesson learned I cannot say I'm not sorry for their loss I work very hard for what I understand I don't like feeling like I'm throwing my money in the trash from not being respected I don't think anyone else would either this being said I feel that everyone is going to keep their eyes on you as well as you on them Cara goes a very long way🙏👼💋🔮 look into this first of all let's see what's in the future for you I keep praying I'm looking at maybe God will take this company into a better level the owners might want to drop to their knees and say a prayer to because I don't feel that their company is going to make it very long there in South Carolina doors open and closes every day so they might want to pray just because you have so many doors open just as many can close without the people you won't make it I've been around long enough to know this they need to understand that they might just want to inform and improve their company policy...
Read moreDon't bother calling ahead with a question, the employees will lie to you.
I called ahead and asked them if they had a sealer for acrylic paint applied to a nylon bag. The CS lady who answered the phone was nice and courteous. Then she took me back to actual "wearable art" department and handed off the call to a lady who works in that department. I described the type of paint I used and the material of the bag, asked her if they had any sealers made for fabric and she told me "yeah, there is a krylon one at the top of the spray paint for that".
Made it to the store, had trouble finding it on the fabric paint isle, so asked the lady, told her I had called, and it was the lady I spoke with on the phone. She told me that I needed to go to the section with the spray paint, not the fabric paint isle where I was. Keep in mind I need a flexible sealer, for A FABRIC BAG. So I went down to the isle she was pointing to and grabbed the product. It says on the can "for wood, plastics, ceramics, not for use on fabric" Seriously.
I doubled checked with her and she basically brushed me off with "that's all we have" I told her I called her ahead asking for a fabric sealer, could there possibly be anything else? She told me no. Nice. Why bother with these people, I thought hobby lobby was such a moral company, yet their employees lie to you when you call?
So I went right down the street to Walmart to the camping section and found a very nice sealer for synthetic fabrics. The man working in the camping section was infinitely friendlier and more helpful than the hobby lobby...
Read moreI have had good experiences at this place but today was my first time doing a return and boy was it a completely different experience than I have experienced before. First of all the receipts only show numbers so the girl couldn't figure out if my item was on that receipt (which I'm thinking look at the item number on my item and check the receipt) but for some odd reason I guess that wasn't a choice. Instead she's telling me that there's nothing on the receipt worth $49.99 (the item's cost) to which I tell her "it was on sale for 50% off" and this girl decides to argue with me telling me I was lying....like I know for a fact they had it on sale because I bought other stuff with the same sale and there was a clock that the cashier specified "wood and metals are on sale but clocks don't count" so I know for a fact wood and metals were on sale. she then led to telling me they had to check cameras?!?!? I felt horrible! First she's calling me a liar and then she's telling me they have to check cameras for when the item was bought to see if the item was bought on the day and time the receipt says! And when she got help from other people she kept repeating "and she's saying the wood and metals were on sale" as if I was making stuff up. Like OMG seriously? I have never experienced anything like this when making returns at other stores. At other stores they scan the item and if the item isn't on the receipt they simply tell you I think you have the wrong receipt. I left out of there feeling as if I was judge as...
