King Torta — Restaurant in West Covina

This place is great if you don't mind spending a bit of money. The food has always great, although there has been times we didn't get toppings and "garnish" we've asked for in the bag. I've never seen it dirty inside or out, and the seating is always clean. Probably the most I can critique is the one time I was served horchata that had gone bad. I very easily got a refund and great customer service from that interaction. If I remember correctly, I also received a free fountain drink. They put a sign on their machine to let others know to not serve it (which seems silly to talk about but I've been to restaurants that have served drinks with hair in them, and continued to serve other customers from the same beverage container looking at you Penny's Diner from across the street). Call me broke, but I think their items are a tad expensive. Regardless of price, I don't think I've ever had inconsistencies or straight up flops for any of their items I've tried. Do not hesitate to check this place out! I recommend the torta, never fails, always leaves you...

Alright Guys I'm Gonna Be Completely Blunt and Honest. Loved this place since it opened the Food Has Always Been Delicious AND their guac Is The Best Around The Area, Super Tasty Over All! BUT My Problem Came When I Found A DEAD ANT In My Daughters quesadilla! I was so horrified and disgusted because I never checked the food, thinking there wouldn't be anything wrong with it . I complained because my daughter had already started eating it and they said that it came from the door something about the wind blowing it in ..... either way they gave me my refund for it and didn't run after, until I got pregnant and was in need for an incredible tasting taco place again, and Still Taste Delicious but just now I gotta keep an eye on my food and pray they're using...

I passed by this place so many times thinking they were closed it's amazing. You really can't see inside and there aren't any of the usual telltale signs that say 'Open for business'! My loss, sadly. The first time I went in, I was informed that the roasted pork is cooked fresh daily and is available around 11:30. I've make that one of the tacos I order ever since. Everything is very flavorful compared to the sometimes bland meat and fillings you find at similar restaurants. I see a lot of take out happening but I always eat in because it would be a waste to let this food get cold....
