West University Branch Library — Attraction in West University Place

Why in the world the library system would choose to hold an event at such a tiny little library with practically no parking is beyond me! People are parked all over the streets are basically all now one way because the part people are parked on both sides of the road making the road inaccessible for through traffic in both directions. In the future if someone wants to plan an event they need to pick a library that has its own parking lot with the size adequate for the number of people who might want to attend. I drove a long way only to find out this facility is not adequate for the event...

This is not your typical library. The place is extremely small with only 3 tables to sit at on the first floor and no access to electrical for charging phones of laptops. The upstairs is a loft that is exclusive only to children and young moms. Needless to say you can hear everything that is being said upstairs. Came to apply for a Harris County Library card even though I’m not a resident of Harris County. However, library cards are free for all Texas residents with proof of residence.
