Well the clothes selection was very good and I found a lot of really nice tops to buy. However, what ruined my experience was that I had more than 8 items to try on so I had to leave about 5 tops with the girl at the dressing room. She hung it up on the side and assured me they'd still be there when I came out. When I came out, there was another girl there and of course my tops were gone. I asked her what happened to them and she said the other girl has them on a rack and is going around hanging all the clothes up and told me to go find her. Ugh so I go looking for her and finally found her. Luckily they were still there on the rack. I looked at her, expecting an apology or at least some kind of acknowledgement, but she didn't care at all and just looked away. Then after I tried everything on and switched a couple of sizes that my husband was holding for me, we were going to pay and my husband asked another girl with a rack if she could hang up the 3 tops that we weren't buying. She has the actual nerve to tell him to go hang it up himself. Disgusting. How about you do your job that you're being paid to do and treat your customers with some respect. I told her we don't know exactly where they came from, hung them up in front of her and went to the register. Hope she enjoyed hanging them up for me after all. When we spend a lot of money between us both, I think we deserve a little more respect than...
Read moreI really dont understand Ross owners theory. They "hello welcome to Ross" you to death when you walk through the door but then treat you horrible while you're there. I have had bad experiences at Rosses before. Mainly because they selk furniture but you can't take the baskets outside and 10 employees would walk all around you and would not do anything to help you. But today was the worst. I was making over a $400 purchase of clothes pictures and a night stand. The cashier was stuffing all the clothes into little bags. I mean you should have seen the size. At that rate i would have needed 10 bags. Remember i have to carry this to the car with no help. So a asked the cashier for a large bag so that i could put more ib it. She told me she couldn't because they have to pay for those bags. I said omg. I am making a $400 purchase and you can't give me a bag. I actually had to call the manager. The manager immediately said give her the bag. The cashier was still arguing her case saying im doing my job. She said the big bags was for furniture. I said maam, I'm buying furniture. So said. The people in customer service really have to start using common sense. And Ross, you should be ashamed of yourself. I included pictures...
Read moreThis is not a place to shop at if you want to be respected, let alone have quality clothes. The security is literally one foot away from you while you check out, literally watches your item being bagged, and then the cashier says your items will be checked at the front and the security that just saw your items being bagged and what was in it, asks to see your receipt and check your bag. So the same person that just witnessed you purchase your items then checks your items. It’s excessive and ruins the mood and experience, and devalues you. I could see if they never saw the item bagged and are checking in case individuals steal, but they are but a arms reach away watching as you check out so they already know what is in your bag and on your receipt. It’s ineffective, rude, and a waste of customers time. Not only do you put up with hovering but also further scrutiny. Not okay nor appropriate. I immediately asked for a refund. In addition to that, many of the clothes had dust on the bottom as if they had been dragged across the floor or fell under an aisle. I only checked with one thing and it was a cup. That’s...
