So glad I got the chance to try out Kriti! Decided to give it a try with a couple of friends, who also had their toddler who enjoyed his well balanced meal. Loved how intimate the restaurant was, simple and clean with a handful of tables. Would be cute for a casual date. The small candles were a nice touch. Would be even better to dine al fresco on a nice fall or spring day on their patio, which makes me miss my time living in Europe. I had the delicious moussaka which came out piping hot. My husband had the chicken wrap and usually he doesn’t order chicken but felt the urge to this time. He was very pleasantly surprised by how fresh it was alongside the simple but perfect lemon potatoes. Will have to come back to try the brunch,...

Amazing and welcoming experience! After reading the review in the Houston Chronicle we decided we must visit for lunch. First impression, we were greeted by an interior which is well-designed, comfortably lit with natural lighting, and a soft but exquisite selection of music. My wife ordered the chicken wrap and side salad while I ordered the lamb wrap with a side salad and ice tea. Fresh, delicious, perfect combination. The tzatziki sauce, my wife commented, was the best she’s ever had! I had to agree. The ice tea, brewed with cinnamon, was an unexpected plus! We plan...

Dear Foodie readers, a little bit of Greece in West U....bringing the freshest ingredients with a home cooked feel...when you walk in it's bright and cozy....we went for brunch, my favorite meal...we started with the dips, they were good, but I felt they needed a little more flavor. Now the eggs and lemon potato's were out of this world. I could eat a bucket of them lol...the staff was very hospitable and friendly...the bonus is they have cooked meals you can take home and reheat. Don't worry about what to cook, grab a home cooked meal from Kriti...

Had the best dinner last night! I picked up moussaka, briami, salad and spanakopita for a friend and me. I called in and they had everything ready for pick up before close. My family is Greek… so I can say… it was so good! Thank you to Mary for opening this spot! Houston has been in need of an authentic Greek restaurant for a long time! Healthy, amazing ingredients, and tastes like home! Love the ease of the ‘heat and eat’ menu, but I’ll definitely come to dine in with my family soon! Stuart - a fellow regular at Pondicherri :) Congratulations on opening!

Wow what a great place. Really pretty dining room with bright white and blue decor. Beautiful sea mural on the wall. The food is so good. We ordered the seasonal salad and the Cretan salad and split the chicken souvlaki. Both salads are among the best we have ever had. We took home the baklava ice cream. Fantastic. This is a top 5 Houston restaurant in an unlikely location. I apologize to the food gods that I didn’t come earlier. Edit: I came back to post a pic of the June 2025 seasonal salad - watermelon and feta w chicken. So good.
