EZ Furniture Sales & Leasing — Attraction in West Valley City

Im only giving this store 1 star because 0 isn't w option. Went in got a couch set was told if i didnt like or wasnt satisfied with it they would come pick it up and let me pick something else free of charge. The couch i picked first was a used couch . They lied on the paper work saying it was new furniture . Told me my weekly bi weekly ans monthly price. So i chose weekly cause thats when i got paid gave them my card info and told them to automatic with draw the monthly payment week would go by no payment taken out then all of a sudden days or weeks down the road they would pull the payment sometimes on Wednesday and then again on Thursday . When it was stated Friday only . Then they took double the money. And said oh we charge a one time processing fee on new things i said im not paying a fee you didnt tell me about. Paid the payment on a Wednesday and then satursay there they was again trying to take money out of my acc called the store and said take my card off file i will come in and pay. I said i work out of town alot so lets go from weekly to bi weekly or monthly tried to charge me all over again and when i called them out on it and sais sounds like your just trying to pocket money. The man told me sorry we cant work with you anymore. . Why cause i make my payments on time and you got trying to steal. . All the employees are rude and could honesty use a shower. The people who delivered smelled so bad and there feet stunk so bad it took days of keeping my windows open in the middle of winter to get the smell out. Place is disgusting and dirtym bed bugs fleas and borken ass pos FURNITURE they try and sell at brandnew prices. Do NOT GO HERE RENT A CENTER IS WAY BETTER THEN THIS PLACE . THEY try and bribe customers to rate them high for a weeks free of FURNITURE dont go here they will still...

Rude Employees They don't follow through with requests You end up paying WAY more than products are worth

I was a customer of EZ Rent to Own for around two years. They are always welcoming and eager to get you whatever you want. The problem, if you have a problem making one of your payments, they refuse to work with you and insist that you return the item because "they don't want to make your financial situation worse" even if you only need a few extra days to pay. In addition, their staff is rude and gets very personal when you aren't able to make your payment on-time. Example: Why didn't you plan this into your budget? When I had just explained that an EMERGENCY had arisen that required my immediate attention. When I asked for a manager, due to the interaction with the rude employee, they stated that he was out on a "run" and would contact me back later that day. Guess what? I never got a call back from the manager! I had to contact them back several times after that to get a hold of him and even then he offered no remedy for my grievance.

Shopping with them for over two years means nothing and they do not know how to exercise actual customer service to help their loyal customers. I'm already paying you way more than the items are worth, the least you could do is try to work with me.

Lastly, when you ask them to send a follow-up email or request anything else from them, they will always conveniently "forget". No...

If you want to be royally ripped off this is the company for you!!!! First didn't deliver when they said they would leaving us without a bed, then delivered the wrong bed and table and TV stand!! It took 3 months to have them deliver the right bed and TV stand and they still have yet deliver the right table! I asked for months to talk to an owner and they refused. I have called and called and called and there most often times refuse to call me back. After paying for 5 months I am fed up I blocked them on my card and told them I want to talk to the owner after 2 days and saying I want them to pick everything up they said they are sending me to collections... Yeah after 2 days of not paying because I wanted to talk to the owner. During the last conversation with Pat i said I wanted to return all be items he said to me" let's be be honest you don't want the items any more cause you can't afford them" no I don't want your items because they cheap or discontinued versions that were in bad condition when they arrived and you refuse to fix your mistake. For your own sake skip this place they have no professionalism and when they can't get more money out of you they turn ugly. I will be calling BBB and any other resources I have... Hell with 400 extra dollars a month I can afford an attorney.PS rent to own come pick up your garbage...
