Rocks with Sass: Crystal Shop — Attraction in Westerville

My new favorite crystal shop! Their attention to detail with design and presentation is unmatched! The interior design is definitely the first thing that caught my eye. It really enhanced the beauty of the crystals, having them against such a pretty backdrop. They even have these adorable suncatcher stickers on the window that cast little rainbows all over the floor, a subtle but lovely detail. I can't tell you how good the energy was in this shop!

The crystals are arranged in a logical order around the store, and all of them are accompanied by cute and sturdy info cards (on cardsock! Like business cards, not just random little pieces of printer paper like many other shops have). The staff was very helpful without being pushy, and they explained different things about how things were organized to us, like how some of the bins on the wall come off and you can browse them on a table, so we could get the most out of our shopping experience.

And finally, the pricing! Compared to the other places I've bought crystals in Columbus, these were the most affordable. As someone who supports small business, I would have unquestionably paid more for what I got, especially given the outstanding quality of everything, but as a consumer living through a recession, I was super excited about being able to get a gorgeous palm sized crystal for only $15.

Rocks with Sass is a beautiful, welcoming, and clean shop full of a wide variety of beautiful high quality crystals and other similar items. Everyone who works there is kind, patient, and full of knowledge they can’t wait to share with anyone who asks. They are incredibly intuitive and provide a tailored experience to their customers starting the first time when you walk in the door. They will take the time to get to know you and what you are looking for as little or as much as YOU want. They make thoughtful and intentional recommendations and it does not take them long to understand you and make recommendations that are exactly what you are looking for. I love going in the shop when I have something specific I am looking for, just to see what’s new, or say hi and check in with the incredible staff who make you feel like part of the team. Their foundation is built on the quality products, which are constantly refreshed and beautifully displayed, and their stellar staff and customer service, and because of that I have NEVER felt pressured into buying anything which is not always the case in other shops. We had an appointment scheduled here at 11 am. No one was at the store when we arrived. We waited for over 30 minutes and still no one arrived. They don’t have a phone number listed so we had no one to call to see if anyone was coming. Upon us leaving, we received a message from the owner stating her employee hadn’t showed up for work that day, and we should come back to the shop because she was on her way to the shop. The owner did offer us a discount on our purchase for the trouble we went through. However, when the employee did finally arrive she was very cold and seemed like the last place she wanted to be was there. She just made me feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable while I was shopping. I didn’t end up grabbing many pieces because of it. It was not good energy from a metaphysical shop. They did have a good selection, but the vibes with the employee aren’t good, the prices were high, and it sucked having to wait for an hour past my scheduled appointment for the employee to get there.
