If I could give less stars I would. My experience with Denise and Deborah at the Westland Ollie's made me not want to shop at Ollie's ever again. I had a heating pad that didn't work. Lost my receipt.. I had to write customer service to get them to send me a copy in a PDF. Long story short. These two Ollie's employees said I sent myself the receipt and I made a photograph of it in a PDF. After being yelled at by Deborah aka DEBBIE I wasn't going to allow her to refund.. after she said she's just making an exception etc.... Smh. I shoulda stuck to my original plan. Which was call BBB, and my attorney....For her lying on me saying I made my own PDF email from Ollie's customer service and Racism . I chose to take steps in a different direction to see which way it would go if I contacted customer service and filed a report. I have to give praise and thanks to a manager in customer service and Especially to the district manager over all the metro Detroit locations for handling the situation. My husband and I love shopping in Ollie's at most we spend almost $200.00 + each shop at the least $180.00. Westland will NEVER GET OUR BUSINESS NOT.... EVEN IN...
Read moreI absolutely love the prices at Ollies I like the turnover I like the merchandise I even like the very few people that work there. Which leads me to my only complaint, of one maybe two registers being opened on a Friday Saturday or Sunday afternoon with the lines all the way back to the hardware department and cashiers who are doing the very best, because I’ve done their job , and I know how difficult it is especially in today’s society ...but management cannot make them suffer that kind of abuse .To having people yell at you because you have only one or two registers open is NOT the cashier at fault, , it’s the managements at fault, which is why so I only gave you three stars. You do have a young man there I believe his name is Adam and he is fantastic and deserves a raise or at least a pat on the back I could be wrong about his name, but he’s about 20 years old , thin with dark hair and he works all over the store , He is extremely young and extremely mature and polite. Read moreI like the bargain deals.The only thing though is that,despite they are selling tons of hand sanitizers,there is nothing for customers to use at the entrance.When i asked the cashier if she can hand me a little bit of the hand sanitizer on the counter,she said no,this is exclusively for staff.Being a place where people come and go,would it be reasonable to at least provide alcohol wipes/or whatever less costly sanitizer for the customers or for santizing their carts ..its not all about the income..please PROTECT your customers too..A little bit of hand sanitizer or cart wipes won’t take too much from your income.Heartland the grocery store beside you improvised some sanitizer/cart cleaning supplies at the entrance for the customers.Maybe u can learn something from them.You need to protect ur customers not just your staff.Sometimes,social distancing...
