I am so glad that this theater survived Covid! Prices are the best, seats are comfortable, movies are the latest ones, and the service is great.
We were watching a matinee yesterday (Saturday) and the hot dogs were not ready yet (or were made to order?). The manager herself brought the hot dog to me during the movie with all the condiments I had asked for! After the movie, I saw the same manager (I'm assuming she was the manager because she was wearing a suit and providing guidance and direction to the other employees) cleaning, sweeping, greeting customers, and saying goodbye to customers. She acted like nothing was below her - that is true leadership! I wanted to get her name, but I did not want to bother her as she was busy cleaning, helping other employees, and engaging customers. Thank you for a great movie day with my Daughter and her friends, ma'am!
EDIT NOV. 30, 2024: Renovated earlier this year, Regency Westminster competes with Cinemark in Bella Terra, among other theaters. The new airline-esque seats are very comfortable, and the pull-in trays add to the airline feel. The employees are also great!
When the theater was not too busy, and as I am disabled, Denny helped my Daughter and me take our popcorn, drinks, and other goodies to our seats. Another time, and after "cooking" it, he personally brought my hot dog to my seat with the requisite ketchup, mustard, and relish. Denny is certainly friendly and caring.
Christopher is one of the managers here. He is also courteous and accommodating. Anything we need, he will make every effort to make sure we get it.
The theater is clean, screens are large, sound is clear, seats are business class comfortable, popcorn is fresh, and the employees are awesome.

Read moreJust came to watch deadpool and wolverine in theatre 8 and i was disappointed at the theatre. First of all they currently have AC issues in some of the theaters and unfortunately theatre 8 was one of them. It was hot enough for me to get sticky and sitting on the leather seats is not fun. This was around 8:20pm… I did complain and the manager gave me small water cups of soda or ask if i wanted a refund instead… not even normal sized soda. Here are the problems i noticed: They leave the lights on extremely bright during previews so you can barely see the screen because everything is extremely washed out. When movie starts it eventually goes dark. The video/projector settings looks bad its not bright enough. Hard to explain but it seems like the video quality is muted and not bright enough there almost like a grey tone all over the whole picture quality. The screen material quality in theatre8 was bad it had stains or marks where certain parts of the movie you can see the screen material showing ruining the movie experience. The new recliner seats dont recline your head back just the...
Read moreStaff does not take seriously someone forgetting a wallet under a seat! I was one of the last to leave the theater and realized as soon as I was back to my car. Immediately RAN back to theater and was offered no flashlight and was told that movie theater is NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST ITEMS. I asked for a flashlight but ushers used there cell phones - I said I can do that! Asked the ticket person for a flashlight I could use - he had one but would not let me use it, (kinda weird), but instead flashed it quickly with no attention to detail as if he know it was not there. I returned with my own flashlight and searched but it was gone. If you plan on visiting this theater please do not forget anything because staff does not seem to take this seriously!
Manager should have been notified immediatley,( without customer having to complain), and he should have immediatley gathered all the crew in private to let them turn it over anonymously.
I think the ushers are looking for a good find when they clean up after a theater!
