Rolled in with my mom on my day off to do our weekly grocery. Parking not bad but I think it can get crowded on weekends. Careful of pedestrians.. vegetable selection is good with mint and basil as well and other Asian herbs. The fresh meat area is good with but the best area is probably the fish and seafood area. Here your fish monger will clean and cut up your seafood the way you want and package it the way you want esp. if you need your fish packaged into portions. Here you can find all the necessary accoutrements in Asian cooking such as fish sauce and soy sauce. But have some adventure and venture into the jarred and pickle sections. Fermented fish and pungent sauces await you in your next meal. Make your way to the instant noodles area. It's said you can go 365 days eating noodles and not ever having to repeat a flavor . Prices are like other Asian grocery store, the aisles are decent that you can navigate with your cart easily . There's no stink or smell ..if any a faint bleach smell. Which I guess is a good thing . So go on and shop and enjoy your next...
Read moreI don’t get to shop here much any longer as I have moved out of the area, but I do love this place.
I've often found that the ability to handle unexpected situations with grace and efficiency is a true mark of excellent customer service. I witnessed such an instance during my recent visit to this store. There was a minor issue with a pricing discrepancy on an item I was purchasing. It could have easily become a frustrating situation, like encountering a roadblock on a long journey. However, the staff member at the checkout handled the situation with remarkable professionalism and efficiency. They quickly resolved the issue, apologizing for the inconvenience and ensuring that I was satisfied with the outcome. It was like watching a skilled mechanic quickly diagnose and repair a problem with a car, minimizing any disruption to the journey. This staff member's ability to handle the unexpected with such grace and efficiency was truly impressive, making it a well-deserved...
Read moreI bought 2 soy milk after work on June 3, 2022. Then went home 5 minutes later because I live 3 blocks away. I opened one, it was sour, spoiled. But the other one is fine. I work 7 days. Usually I get out of work when the store is closed. Finally 2 days later, I got out of work early, I returned the rotten soy milk w the receipt. I said I bought 2. One is fine. But this one is spoiled, very sour. Manager said no. No exchange. Or refund. And continued to argue with me. That it's my fault for leaving outside. I said I didn't. Management doesn't have listening skills. I repeated that I drank right away, and it's spoiled. I didnt want to argue for a $4 spoiled spy milk for almost half an hour. So I left. They can have the spoiled milk and money. Their customers service is to argue with customers until they give up and go away. So they can keep the money. There are many other stores that sell soy milk and treat people with...
