I’ve been going to Cindy Hair Salon for 9 years, and while Cindy truly has a talent for making hair look healthy and beautiful, she has absolutely zero respect for her clients’ time. Last week, I messaged her asking if I could dye my hair back to dark brown from blonde. She told me the appointment would be from 9AM to 12PM. The day before, I even sent her a photo of what I wanted — she never mentioned that it would take longer or cost more, but once I sat in her chair, she suddenly told me the price would be $200 more than what she originally quoted and that the process would take until 4PM (5PM at the latest). While this was unexpected, I agreed, since I’m used to long salon sessions with her.

From 9 AM to 3 PM, she took in other clients in between working on my hair. By 3:52 PM, I asked if we’d be finishing soon — she said by 5 PM then at 4:30, I checked again, and she said 5:30. By 5 PM, she told me it would take another hour. I didn’t leave her salon until 6:50 PM — nearly seven hours after I arrived. This isn’t the first, second, third, or even fourth time I’ve had to reschedule or cancel meetings because of her complete lack of professionalism and utter disregard for time management. What’s worse is that she never takes accountability when she’s at fault — whether it’s going several hours past the promised time or completely missing the color I requested. Another disappointing experience was back in May 2025. The day before my appointment, I had a haircut and flatiron. I came to Cindy for maintenance — just a routine blonde/grey touch-up before my boyfriend's graduation. Instead, she dyed my hair strawberry blonde (a color I never asked for and absolutely hate). When I mentioned that my hair looked red, she blamed me and said, “You shouldn’t have cut your hair. The products ruined the color. You should’ve told me.” First of all, I did tell her I cut my hair that morning, and second, who says washing your hair ruins hair dye? I even consulted several other hairstylists, and they all confirmed her explanation made no sense whatsoever.

After nearly a decade of loyalty and countless referrals to coworkers, friends, and family, I can confidently say I will never return to Cindy Hair Salon. I pay far too much money to be treated with such disrespect and inconsideration. Her constant disregard for time management and tendency to juggle multiple clients at once shows a complete disregard for the time and experience of those who’ve been loyal to her for years. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere — somewhere that truly values and respects...

This review is long overdue. I wanted to wait at least 3 months after my brazilian blowout. Tino and Cindy are really great with communication and quick at responding, very professional. I got my brazilian blowout on March 11th, 2024. Cindy and Tino have so much patience, and I can tell they have a passion for what they do. They're meticulous and made sure my hair was perfect. I have a very long, thick, very dry, coarsed texture and ALOT of hair. They didn't rush or cut corners in doing the brazilian blowout. It took them longer than anticipated and used an entire bottle of the brazilian blowout on my hair. I felt bad that they spent over 8 hours vs 4 hours on my hair. They worked hard. Although they had other appointments, they didn't rush through my hair. They made sure every strain of my hair was perfectly straight. As of today, my hair is still straight (not as pin straight as the 1st few months) and healthy. It doesn't frizz up, and it's manageable. I'm very happy that I went to Cindy and I highly recommend her. I highly recommend Cindy. I love my hair more than ever. I will definitely go back to Cindy.

I have been coming to this place since 2021! Yes you heard me, it’s been 4 consecutive years. And let me tell you it has never changed! This is the only place that i only trust to do my hair! Ive been to couple places before i found cindy and none of them can do what cindy does. My hair was so awful before i meet cindy. Dry, frizzy, curls. And i lost my confidence because nobody can do me a real straight and healthy hair. But when i meet cindy everything has changed. I did a Brazilian blowout every year this is what i came for at cindy hair salon. And cindy and her husband did all the magic and put back my confidence, make me feel beautiful again. Service at this place is really great they are very accommodating, clean place very polite and kind owner. I know it’s hard to trust places. But trust me only cindy can make your hair looking fabulous, healthy, glowing and shiny hair. I highly recommend this place! I love this place specially cindy and her husband they are such a great people and good business owners. They handle their customers like a family. And oh! They now do nails as well.
