Pokemon trainers will love this park. Contains 5 pokestops and one gym most often ran by team mystic. You can hit 3 of the pokestops without moving and there are often people putting lures there-sometimes at all 3! No walking required to catch great pokemon. There are 2 additional pokestops on the streets opposite the park (51st and independence and at the gardening store) so its great if you need pokeballs. And the park is pretty and the lap around the lake doesn't take too long but long enough that the pokestops will refresh by the time you get back. Around 5pm you can see about 10-20 trainers. Read moreThis park was okay, mostly good for running, dog-walking, or bike riding around the pond. The grassy area is fairly small, but you could play catch. The playground was fun, though worn from the weather and sun. The ground cover was pebbles, and padding under some slides. There is a separate are for little kids with three slides and three ways to climb up. The larger structure has three slides also, with many ways to climb up, and monkey bars. Read moreThis is a little gem of a spot to catch fish caught a monster catfish two nites ago this morning went from sevenuntil eleven. Caught a 7 1/2 inch baby spotted chanel cat and an 18inch large mouth bass will be back tonight for another shot at them monster catfish. The wheather was still headed to them 90s but morning was overcast so fishing was good. Lake was clear and lots of fish activity had a great morning and will be back to this little fishing spot as often as can make time.
