I want to start of by saying I have read other reviews and am astonished at them this hotel and there new staff I believe new management or ownership has been exceptional and hospitable. (Which that is a hotels industry HOSPITALITY ROOM AND BOARD). THEY HAVE SHOWN WARM WELCOMES ARE EASY GOING AND VERY ATTENTIVE TO ANY REQUEST. NOW in the past my family and I stayed here its was the worst experience ever. So when we were welcomed by Shannon and her other staff we were beyondd impressed and felt as though we were at home. Our house caught fire and we lost everything and it has been extremely challenging to recover from the loss due to our past experiences here we vowed never to return , yet I am so grateful we did because of As shannons dedication to her job and her caring personality is unwaivering . We want to say thank you ato the staff at this location and to the management anchain for this experience we wouldn't know where to turn if it weren't for the hard work and committed dedication as well as the high level of customer serice dedication and grace shown by the staff. So again thank you Shannon and and the new work crew here and GREAT JOB Motel six you are saving our lives . we will never stay at another hotel other than motel 6 ever again. So all the way to the smiles and hellos from the maintenance and the amazing job from the cleaning it's been a weight of relief to be at such a great place and to see the way it has transformed completely we couldn't be moving forward with out you. I also think it's important to recognize how the effects of one person smile can change someone's life forever and that people are real people do care and that place is change I love to see the transfer transformation to know that they're truly are good people out there good organizations companies and chains that actually do provide that one smile the place is actually care about their staff and the staff cares about their service it's important to remember that one person smile or one person's favor or one person's act of kindness can really save thousands of lives just in the fact that this experience has saved me and my family's life and we're actually moving forward it's an amazig experience and once again shout out to Motel 6 and wheat ridge and shout out to Motel 6 in general but specifically thank you to the staff here and you guys are...
Read moreI booked a room for my friend and me as I was having surgery that week and would be staying for a week. I really wish I had gone somewhere else and listed to these 1-star reviews.|Upon arrival, the AC (kinda) worked, TV worked, minifridge worked, and lights worked. That was it. The sink had fruit flies coming out of it, and the shower would not become warm even on full heat on many occasions. The person at the front when we arrived said he would call the room after 10 minutes to make sure everything was OK, but he never did. That should've been the first red flag.|My friend briefly wiped (not scrubbed) down part of the floor the day we arrived, and the cloth was black. The tub had random blue paint spots that looked like they were never addressed. The sheets and towels were clean, but nothing else. Housekeeping came on the 8th day with a towel, and we were leaving on the 9th. All the other days, we went and asked for new towels ourselves. Our toilet kept clogging, and the front desk made us plunge our own toilet. No shampoo or conditioner was provided, so I'm glad I brought my own.|There was a cart outside with supplies on it like toilet paper, and there was someone who looked like they were supposed to be the ones to give the toilet paper or garbage bags several days, but they never did. We had to take them off the cart and do it ourselves.|I asked for an accessible room as I would be having surgery. On the phone, they supposedly put it in a note. I got a room on the ground floor, but nothing else. There was no bar for the shower, nor was it a walk-in tub.|My dad, who stayed in the next room over, had the shower temperature problem even more frequently, and his AC didn't work. Keep in mind that this is in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, in the middle of July.|I needed essentially a room with 2 beds and a shower for a week for cheap. I have never had such a low standard be barely met. I would say that I guess you get what you pay, but I have had better than this everywhere else. I'm never doing a Motel 6 again. Spend the extra $10 at...
