Puente Hills Preservation Authority is a lazy and incompetent organization.

They are the only ones who

Close trails before sunset. (closes at 5pm in May...) Close trails for 2+ days when one raindrop falls from the sky Have a Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, phone number, and an official website, but fails to post trail closures and reopenings. Even worse, if you go on their Facebook page, you'll see they arbitrarily announce closures, making visitors (falsely) confident that the trails are open if there are no closure announcement (Surprise! They're just too lazy to post every single closure). If you call their phone number, an automated message will literally say the same thing 365 days a year, repeating the same message that "Trails are open!" despite closures happening frequently.

It honestly saddens me that these people can be so lazy and incompetent. What do you guys do all day if not informing your citizens who pay your salary when the trails are open and when...
