Whittier Museum — Attraction in Whittier

Visited on 9/7/24 Wonderful museum with so much local history, this is a must see. The person working was informative and extremely polite. There was a class being performed for kids and it was a little loud in that immediate area. The magician exhibit was probably one of the coolest exhibits I’ve ever seen in person. There is a room with past technology and you’re able to go in touch and play with these items. What a jewel of a museum. When you think of a local city museum. What may come to mind is a closet size exhibit of somebody's grandmother framed on the wall. The Whittier Museum is two stories. Looks like 14,000 ft² full size exhibits of how the city looked the turn of the century schoolroom for kids, local history, Nixon history, and a giant research library room filled with photos and newspapers from days gone by,(this room by appointment only) A must stop on your California history tour.
