Chapala Bakery & Cafe — Restaurant in Whittier

Recently went into the bakery to get a couple cream bolios (come here often on my way to work) this past week I notified the bakery that the cream cheese wasn’t good got me a bit sick when I called for a manager about the bolios the lady at the register said would contact me soon couple days later no respose stopped by this morning no manager nothing so I called in after to get in touch with a manager nothing once more all I got was yea there been a few complaints about them the bakers leave the cream cheese out all day I think I should tell them to put it in the fridge end called this is not the place to get your food from if they leave dairy products out all day long getting ..with that said is this a place you want to be getting...

This place doesn’t deserve any stars, we just purchased a cake from them today & as soon as we cut into it it was green and moldy, tasted super weird. Unfortunately people did ingest this cake. I will continue to report this company because god forbid any of my family members get sick because of this!!!!! Please do not support businesses who do not care about what they’re selling or how to properly handle and make food that people ingest! It is disgusting!! I walked in to show them what they had sold us & the employee was laughing...

I ordered tamales on 12-22 for pick up on 12-23-20. I sent my adult Son to pick them up. They said they did not have my order and it was too late to place order. I called the store and was explaining to her when order was placed and who I spoke with and she HUNG UP on me. I was not raising my phone or speaking angrily I was just explaining to her. I called back several times and she would not answer phone. I had someone else call and she answered phone. It was a mess. Needless to say, I won’t go...
