Beautiful college campus. Faculty and staff are very friendly. Dining Hall has good food at reasonable price. Had a nice visit with my son, who is a student. Update from previous post. Another son is a new student. We attended Freshman orientation today, June 11, 2021. Feb. 26 2022, another nice visit with my son at the campus. Buildings are always very clean👍. April 26, 2022-. Move out day, semester over and time for summer break. My son finished his freshman year with a solid 3.0👍🎉🎊🎈

I absolutely love this campus! It's such a great place to be, surrounded by nature and beautiful hills. The views here are absolutely breathtaking, I can't get enough of them! The only thing is, it's a bit isolated from the airport and shops, but that's not a big deal. Overall, it's a friendly and amazing place to study.

Huge university located in a peaceful place offering a mix of courses for every level of study. The university is very old and is managed very well. The infrastructure is huge and the people are helpful.

My time at the University of the Cumberlands was nothing short of a disappointing and frustrating experience, leading me to give it a one-star rating. From the moment I enrolled, I encountered numerous issues that greatly impacted my education and overall satisfaction with the institution.

One of the major drawbacks of the University of the Cumberlands was its lackluster academic quality. The courses I took were poorly structured and lacked depth. The material covered was often outdated and failed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the subjects. Additionally, the teaching quality varied significantly, with some professors demonstrating a lack of expertise and engagement in their respective fields. The lack of academic rigor and intellectual stimulation greatly hindered my ability to grow and excel in my studies.

Furthermore, the university's administrative processes were consistently disorganized and frustrating. Registering for classes, resolving financial aid issues, and accessing necessary resources were all plagued by inefficiencies and miscommunication. The lack of clear guidance and timely support from the university staff only added to the frustration and hindered my ability to navigate the academic system effectively.

The campus facilities at the University of the Cumberlands were subpar and in need of significant improvement. The classrooms and study areas were outdated, often lacking the necessary technology and resources to support a modern learning environment. The lack of investment in infrastructure and campus amenities greatly impacted the overall educational experience and hindered student success.

Another significant drawback of the University of the Cumberlands was its lack of diversity and inclusivity. The campus environment felt homogeneous and unwelcoming to individuals from different backgrounds. The university's limited efforts to foster a diverse and inclusive community resulted in a lack of cultural exchange and a narrow-minded atmosphere that stifled intellectual growth and personal development.

Furthermore, the career services and job placement support at the University of the Cumberlands were severely lacking. The university failed to provide sufficient guidance and resources for students seeking internships or job opportunities in their chosen fields. The limited networking opportunities and lack of career development programs greatly hindered students' ability to secure meaningful employment after graduation.

Lastly, the cost of tuition at the University of the Cumberlands was disproportionate to the quality of education and resources provided. The hefty financial burden placed on students was not justified by the subpar academic experience and lack of support.

In conclusion, my time at the University of the Cumberlands was marked by academic mediocrity, administrative inefficiencies, inadequate facilities, a lack of diversity and inclusivity, limited career services, and a high price tag. I would strongly advise prospective students to carefully consider their options and thoroughly research the institution before committing to the University of the Cumberlands. It may not provide the educational quality, support, and opportunities necessary for a fulfilling and successful...

All I need to say about this University, the Athletic Department, the AD and how they treat their precious students is this:

"The University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky has reached a settlement of more than $14 million with the family of a student wrestler who died of heat stroke in 2020, the university and family’s attorney have said. Grant Brace died after a “punishment practice” during which university wrestling coaches “ignored Grant’s deteriorating medical condition throughout practice,” according to the lawsuit filed by the Brace family. Brace repeatedly begged for water, but the coaches wouldn’t allow anyone to help him and sent him out of the wrestling facility by himself, the lawsuit said. Brace was found dead “with his hands clinched in the grass and dirt after a desperate and erratic search for assistance and water,” the lawsuit said. He was 20 years old at the time, according to the suit." (2023 CNN article)

This joke of an educational facility has blood on their hands.

I, as a former college athlete at UC, can attest to their poor, disrespectful and malicious treatment of their athletes and students overall. Please DO NOT go HERE!...

worst school ever. came here as a religious member on LGBTQ+ community and definitely wasn’t accepted even though I was religious. you have to be a straight white die hard christian to get the slightest respect, or the star player of a sports team. their saying “one big team” only applies to certain people. very unfriendly to people of different races, religions, and sexualities. student life is very poor (hardly any activities for students that are actually enjoyable and students are not nice). dorms are not clean and very old, RAs and staff in general are VERY rude and pressure you into going to bible study, fake people on campus, food is bad especially from the caf, absolutely awful town with nothing to do besides suck the life out of you. the staff and faculty promise a lot of things and do not follow through, they are simply there to take your money. the school is small and seems like the only thing students enjoy doing is gossiping and spreading rumors. worst 3 years of my life
. not sure how anyone could enjoy that school. my best advice is to go literally anywhere else or transfer to get an actual...
