There is a playground area for children clean and well maintained. Asphalt paths allow to walk without tiny stones and sand in sneakers)some paths are sandy though as you walk further. Read moreI knew this park was opened quite some time ago but thought it’s too small to check it out, until this morning when a friend said she was going for a hike there and then I gave it a try. Turned out that’s a very well marked, beautiful lake park with trails around the big lake and in between lakes. Views are very beautiful! There are shady trails thru woods and sunny trails thru meadows, all would loop up to 2 miles.
Better yet, there are many fishing points you can easily access thru the trails to the lake for fishing and viewing.
And the parking lot by the entrance is very neat, with pavilions, kids playground and picnic...
Read moreThis was a beautiful park! Two big lakes with plenty of trees and well maintained trails. I imagine it would be even more beautiful in the Fall when are the trees around the lake are changing colors. I saw multiple types of birds and it was just a very enjoyable walk. I went on a weekday and there were quite a few people I passed on the trails, but not too crowded. I'm not sure how it is on weekends though.
