Overall this is a nice venue, it’s pretty and has great food! Since this is at the end of a strip mall I think if they did something on the side of the building for a cute photo area this would really amp the venue up as photo areas are limited inside and there’s not a super pleasing outdoor area for photos. My main issue was with the coordinator. We had one we signed with then 6 months before my event it switched to someone new. She did not initiate much communication, at the food tasting she was not able to give any wine/beer recommendations or recommendations for the meat options, she did not speak to the bride or groom on the event day except to ask where the cake topper was after the ceremony, she did not show up to the rehearsal and did not mention she wouldn’t be there on our call the week before the event and she is supposed to be a day of coordinator so that didn’t make sense to me why she wouldn’t be there, she switched the order of our reception events without letting anyone know - the DJ told us right as we were about to walk in, as part of the package we are supposed to get a veggie plate and champagne while we got ready but they delivered that to our bridal suite at 5:53 when the event was at 6 so we couldn’t even have it at that point, she was rushing us to start even though she wasn’t at the rehearsal to help us figure out how things were going to go, she dumped the bridal party’s drinks out for no reason, after we had left one of the bridesmaids went to grab the rest of our stuff from the office and the coordinator made a comment about not having gotten to talk to the bride even though I would assume as a coordinator that would be the first thing you did when you arrived, we also couldn’t confirm if we could get ready at the venue until 3 weeks before the event in case a luncheon was booked so that was inconvenient for planning (if there was a luncheon we only get the space for two hours before the event which isn’t enough time for vendors or getting ready), we booked 2 rooms but could only use one of the bars, for cocktail hour they were supposed to have everyone go to the lobby and put up the room dividers while we take photos back in the room where the ceremony was but they didn’t so everyone started filling the room while we were taking pictures which was overwhelming, the cake is part of the package which is nice but the bakery is 40 mins from the venue so if you don’t live close it’s not convenient to plan the tasting, they only have 100 clear chairs so any more than that is $4 per person, when we came to drop off our final payment no one was in the office or anywhere to be seen - we knocked and called 3 times and left voicemails and then emailed with no response until a few hours later so we had to drive back the next day since they only accept cash or cashiers check (would have appreciated her letting us know on our call the week before that we should come at a certain time maybe). We had one wedding coordinator when we first signed then she no longer worked there but the venue did not even bother to tell us until I was looking for her. Months after we signed. The new coordinator that was assigned to us was terrible. We were promised quite a few things from the original person that never made it into the contract, thank god i had emails stating what was promised, and was told that we would not get everything promised because it would cost them money. The "free cake" included in our package ended up costing $300. Fast forward to a few days before the wedding for the Rehersal. I got an email from Akansha (the coordinator) asking if we can be done by a certain time because she had things to do. When we had questions that day she was nowhere to be found and we had to hunt her down. The day of the wedding I arrived to find that my reception room hadn't even begun to be set up. I stood upstairs in my suite (which didn't have the champagne and snacks also in the contract....we got it once we asked) and watched them start to setup my room. I was told not to worry it'll be OK. I was called downstairs by my mother in law to be asked if my table placecards were setup correctly since she had done them. Akansha had a photo of how everything was to look on that table and yet did not setup, then blamed my florist....both of which are unacceptable. Once my ceremony was done and I canned back from taking photos I was told by my mom that she was given a piece of paper and told to finish putting on the table numbers on the tables by akansha. I was also told by a lot of guests that the room and bar wasnt ready when they were let in so they felt lost. I was also told almost an hour before my wedding was over to " remember your wedding ends soon"… who says that? Read moreI don’t even know where to begin with this venue. I think one of the favorite parts of my wedding was walking into my reception and seeing how beautiful it was. Dianna, our wedding coordinator, was the BEST ever. We were hesitant at first when our initial coordinator had changed, but honestly we are so glad and lucky it did happen! I didn’t really have much of a vision to what I wanted my venue to look like. She was super helpful with what colors would work and what people like. She was also available whenever I needed her, even on her days off! The food was amazing! We had two different appetizers, a coffee bar, late night snacks, and the family style dinner. Everyone raved about the food, which also leads me to say they did a complimentary food tasting before we even booked. Soooo many places don’t offer that! They also did a tasting for appetizers too. The decorations they provided were so pretty! I did a coral theme so they provided the table runners, chair covers, sashes, and pink uplighting! I also had half the tables with the floating candle centerpiece that they provided and everything just all together turned out so beautiful. Everything ran smoothly, I would not change one thing! I would recommend this venue to anyone, and I especially recommend working with Dianna.
