Zero stars for me... The woman who works there is EXTREMELY rude! I purchased two small tropical blizzards expecting them to be made correctly. I get home, store them in the freezer for later. When I do eat one, there's no pecans inside, but pineapples. A tropical blizzard is made with coconuts, bananas, and pecans. I trashed the one I ate and kept the other. The next day, I call and politely explain what happened, she's rude and tells me there's nothing she can do about it.
As I explain to her that I'm not asking for MY money ($8.51) or free ice cream. I wanted to let her know that there are people with pineapple allergies and what if someone in my household was allergic and ate the ice cream---expecting the blizzard to be made correctly, they would have been sick or worse. So as I'm talking to her, she hangs the phone up on me.
When I get there to explain myself, I tell her I wasn't being rude, I was explaining the health hazard of that situation. Yes mistakes happen, but they need to train their employees correctly when it comes to someone's food. ( this goes for ANY place serving food). She looks at me like she doesn't want to hear what I have to say, remakes the blizzard, when I didn't ask for ANYTHING, no ice cream or money, slams it on the counter along with the spoon.
I try and explain to her that I wasn't asking for anything, I just wanted to inform her on this. She shakes her head and waves me off to take the next customer.
I've never had a complaint against this store until now. Whenever I ask and purchase a tropical blizzard, made by her any other time, there are NO pineapples whatsoever inside. I called corporate and reported this situation, because this issue could have turned into a...
Read moreI understand that the workers are teenagers but they seem bothered every time I have come here. I try to refrain from coming to this location simply due to the fact that said teenagers are not friendly and borderline rude but due to the convenience of the location, a friend and I decided to give it another chance yesterday evening (June 3rd).
The young man taking my order was very short/ not welcoming and I had asked for an extra scoop of cookie dough (which was 79¢) since they never put enough in the past. I got my blizzard and was not thanked by the young girlâ not surprising. The amount of cookie dough was the same as Iâve previously received at this location so the extra charge was essentially for nothing.
When my friend put in their order, the three people behind us received their orders and the workers had to be reminded of her blizzard which was just sitting behind the counter.
The whole thing is honestly laughable at this point but we will not be coming here again. The one in Woodridge on 75th is always great and the owner/manager is...

The lovely ladyâs of this establishment made me blush when they told me they would have my split in a jif. I must say, the little dark haired girl âAlyssaâ has a nac for making ice creme. One that am intellect such as I can respec. The neck. watching her pull that lever was Majestic. AshLey was also on the ball. She was quite in tune with the world While topping of my Split. Not gonna lie, wish I worked her with her cuz sheâs a fireball of cute. Grandmama was quite happy with her softy. I must say, I will be returning to try out this nutty goodness as I was jealous watching the fudge enter the darkness of her chompers. As we walked out, Alyssa told me bye and she winked at me. A very warm welcome and...
