eTech Phone Repair — Attraction in Wilmington

ETech was my third stop to find a reasonably priced and trustworthy cell phone repair shop. Stop one, UbreakiFix, Prices Corner. A young, arrogant customer representative could not promise that a repair would fix the phone, nor could he provide a time frame for repair, but advised that a $40 deposit was required. Stop two, Walmart has a cell phone repair shop but they do not show up to work at the hours listed so that was a no go. Third stop, eTech. This is in Wilmington. It may appear not to be in a safe location but it is safe. Come here talk to the technician and he will tell you when to pick it up and it will be ready. The young lady working as the customer representative is articulate and professional. The technician will test for repair whe you wait and tell you up front what he can or can't do with you losing money. This technician is the owner of the shop is honest, upfront and very good at what he does. I don't know the owner nor the customer service rep so I have no stake in providing this review. Real genuine guy, I’ve asked him to take a look at this Frankenstein phone I bought from another store that’s been nothing but problems since I bought it and he did it quick on the spot with no questions asked, was expecting to pay something and never charged me a dime and looked at it for like 30 mins …. Even tried to call the guy to see if could get him to switch it or give me a deal on another phone or something since he knew him basically dude told me I’m beat and I came back over to him and he got me right. I had paid him to fix my home button and volume buttons to get them working again, he first gave me a discount on that and started working on it right away and when I came back for the phone he replaced my frame since it had rust and was water damaged inside and put a new charger port and basically replaced everything that was bad and I walked out with an entirely different phone than when I walked in and didn’t ask for any more money I mean I couldn’t think of a better place in Wilmington to take your phone if you want someone’s honest opinion...
