Yentile Farm Recreational Facility — Attraction in Wilmington

An enjoyable playground for kids 2 to 10. Plenty of places to run and play. There is a covered picnic area and plenty of benches, some in the shade and some in the sun. The restrooms are pretty good for a public space. Brand new park. The restrooms were new and clean. Changeing tables in the restrooms. Plenty of trails that loop around the park and play field. The multi use play field is an astro turf type. I'm not a fan of the playing field turf, in my opinion the town would have been better off if they had used real grass. Great park! 4 areas for different ages. Clean, nice design. I liked that the slides for younger kids are very safe and would not scare the little ones. It got very crowded around 10:30 am. Looks like a summer camp is using the facility because the ratio of adults to kids was about 1 to 8-10 or so. After 11:30 it was reasonable amount of kids on all playgrounds.
