Growing up in Willimantic, we had nothing like this and I feel as though we should have, being a largely Hispanic populated community. I recently moved back to the area and was excited to find this. My ham, egg and cheese was delicious, however we waited over 20 minutes for 2 sandwiches. Of course we couldn’t leave without getting some pastries to try because 🤷🏻‍♀️ and while I haven’t tried them yet, I am optimistic. I do however wish, they didn’t look as though they’ve been sitting for days. This spot you can tell, is definitely the spot for sweet bread and water bread… and of course we had to get some and it was delicious and hot and fresh. Lastly, I do wish the owners would take a little more pride in the way their establishment looks. It is very dirty looking. Dark and gloomy, the ceiling has so much water damage it looks as if the tiles are going to come crashing down. If they’re renting that location, they need to speak with their landlord. For a little bakery such as theirs, it would be so beautiful to be vibrant and show pride in their heritage, play some good music.. it would make a world of difference.
