Before I write my long review I want readers to know the review by Amanda referencing Hannah the new owners took credit for. Which says a lot about character. Hannah left Serenity Nails when or before the new owners took over. the post is from when she was there. The owner responded like she is still there. And Hannah was the best and I’m trying to find her to continue doing my nails.
The good reviews definitely had a better experience than I did. And I will never ever return and anyone that I know goes there I will tell them find a new place. It is now under a different owner and new management. New owners took over about 3 months ago and after being a customer for 4-5 years I literally was told they were too busy to service me as a walk-in. This occurred at 10am in the morning. There was no offer to wait. No offer to schedule an appointment or anything. Just “Sorry Bye Bye!” I went to a technician I knew and she said (the only one of the original technicians remaining) she could take me at 6. However as much as I like her service I could not imagine giving this establishment my money under the new ownership. That was the poorest customer service ever. I called back to speaker to the owner. But whomever answered couldn’t understand me. I got some long BS story about walk-ins are first come first service (Duhhhh- everybody knows that) and the new rule was appointments only a day in advance. But remember they didn’t offer me an appointment for later or heck even Monday. PLUS the technician I knew said she could take me at 6. OHHHH AND BY THE WAY ITS ONLY 10am!!! So you literally are predicting the full day??? AND THERE WAS NOBODY WAITING. I WOULD HAVE GLADLY WAITED BECAUSE I WAS A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR YEARS! And did I mention all I wanted was polish removal and nothing else??? Like seriously. You stick your hand in a bag for SNS. And I have gel on my toes that I just wanted off. However they were not courtesy enough to ask that. But I did say polish removal. I did not want a new polish or anything. No full set or anything- just polish removal. I miss Hannah and the old owner. It sucks when ppl take over and forget customer service. After being a loyal customer I will never return. And since I was turned away like that I will be going somewhere else today and get the works. Pedi, a full set and all. Serenity will never get my money again. I guess it’s in with the new customers out with the old. But retention is the key thing about a business. New customers aren’t always dedicated. Read moreThis is my third time coming to this establishment. I have never had an issue ever coming. I actually preferred it compared to the other places on Hanes Mall Boulevard. I have always booked online and there has never been an issue. But today there was. I showed up at the time I had scheduled even though the appointment had not been confirmed just like it hadn’t been to town before so I was just thinking they overlooked it or whatever. I would have been perfectly fine waiting since technically their online booking doesn’t work or they don’t use it anymore. If they aren’t going to use their online booking and they should take it off their website or posted there no longer using it. There really was no issue on waiting at all but I was never asked to do so. Kelly who I think might be the owner I’m not very sure replied in a very not so welcoming manner that if the appointment was not confirmed then I have no appointment. Which I completely understand but it was the way that she acted towards me that just made me feel very off. And then she started to get really quiet with the client that she had at her table and made me feel like she was talking about me. So overall not the best experience as far as customer service but I do appreciate angels work. Might I mention I just got a feeling this time and Angel did it within 30 to 40 minutes it was super fast. Read moreUpdate: went back today for an appointment with Jack. I showed him a picture and he replicated it perfectly. I love these more than the first set! Jack is the bomb! Previous visit: It was the first time at this location and I haven't had my nails done in years. I was a walk-in today and only waited about 5 minutes. I believe it was Jack that did my nails. He was very personable. I really enjoyed our small talk. He asked me what shape I wanted and I advised I wanted colored tips. A lady there showed me all the colors and I picked the red glitter. It looked really nice on the nail. I must say, I loved Jack and I loved the shape and nail quality. I'm not a fan of the color. I feel like he should have done a second coat so you couldn't see through the tips of my nails. Since it's my first time here, I didn't say anything about it but next time I go, I'll come in with a photo of what I want and how I want them to look.
